The FES takes 4 hours to get to the city of Chefchaouen, but it's worth it. A spectacular sunday in November at 23rd, few people and a blue/blue around you.
The people always laughing and the corners of the medal that fascinate you, leaving you an indelible memory.★

We had a magical day. A highlight of our holiday!! Very straightforward to organise. But above that, everyone we met was so very welcoming and kind. Hamza, who drove us and took us to the falls, made the day particularly enjoyable. Our guide around Chefchaouen was so lovely and had a great laugh with him too. Speaking very good English, Spanish and French was really helpful for us . We felt very welcomed and had a really fun time together, sad to go back home!★

The organisers remained in touch and have us picked up at the blue gate by someone to take to the point where we met the driver. A young skilful driver, Sufiyan, who was polite and helpful. The journey was long from Fez but it was a worthwhile trip. The blue city was amazing, and people friendly there. We met another guide upon arrival at Chefchaouen who was good, appeared knowledgeable and had good sense of humour. He showed us around for an hour and then we explored the place for 2.5 hours ourselves before taking the van back at 4pm. Unfortunately the mini van’s AC did not work for most of the journey back to Fez. It was very warm that day so it made it uncomfortable at times. Overall a big thumbs up for the driver and local guide at Chefchaouen.
