Overall, I was satisfied with my experience with the surfing class. However, I felt that the group was a little too large for a beginner class. I had never surfed before, so it was difficult for me to keep up, and I didn’t feel like I was getting enough individual attention. The instructor leading our group didn’t really speak English, so another foreign participant and I were almost left on our own at times. Fortunately, another instructor from the same company, who could communicate in English, noticed this and proactively helped me. Thanks to his guidance, I was finally able to stand up on the board by the end of the lesson! So, if you’re a foreign beginner, I’d recommend letting the organizers know in advance that you’d prefer to be placed in a group with a coach who can communicate in English. It would make the experience much easier and more enjoyable.

We did the 1-hour Okinawa street kart tour with our guide, Chari! From start to finish, he kept the vibe fun and upbeat, so we could just relax and enjoy the ride. All five of us had a great time driving through the city safely—it was such a unique and fun experience, and we were laughing the whole way. It was short but definitely memorable. Highly recommend trying the street kart tour if you're visiting Okinawa!
