Azzurra is an excellent guide; more than just a tour to see the most important sculpture, it provides fascinating information about art history and its development. A truly interactive and engaging tour.
Reviews: Florence: Giotto's Bell Tower and Cathedral Entry Ticket

Since we scheduled our visit to the bell tower for early morning, there weren't any crowds yet. The climb was strenuous, but the view was rewarding and simply fantastic. The cathedral itself isn't particularly impressive; only the dome is truly remarkable. However, the entrance fee to the Santa Reparata crypt was definitely worthwhile. The Baptistery is also worth visiting, despite the ongoing renovations, and last but not least, the entrance to the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo was a great experience for us. Because our ticket wasn't for a guided tour, we were able to set our own pace, which suited us perfectly.
