Floating down the Mekong was very memorable and the lunch we had was great. It did feel a bit rushed though for example when trying all the fruits our group didn’t even have time to finish what was brought out. The tour guide was very knowledgable, but kept saying let’s go let’s let’s go in an annoyed manner.★

The idea of a day trip to the Mekong River was a whim. The local guide was fantastic and took us to various attractions. My favorite was the coconut boat trip, which made me feel like I was in the Amazon rainforest. We stopped at some places like coconut candy and honey, but we weren't forced to shop. The guide saw that we had no intention of buying, so we continued our shopping. The guide's name seemed to be Lem, but I'm not sure if that's how he got along. He talked a lot about Vietnam's culture and history, which was very informative. We chose an English lunch for over 80 yuan, which included a light meal. It was super cost-effective.★

I was able to learn about the Cu Chi Tunnels and the history of the Vietnam War. I learned a lot about how the Cu Chi Tunnels work. It was a great experience to learn about things that I don't often have the opportunity to learn.
