I purchased a plan in Russia for the number of days I needed and activated the eSIM at the airport upon arrival in Vietnam, connecting to Wi-Fi. Everything was very fast and, most importantly, convenient. I only used the internet, as I didn't need to make calls. I shared the internet with my husband via the modem. Everything worked flawlessly.

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.

Easy to install. Convenient to use. Good signal. Works well even in many places. There is a link to check how much you have used. Recommended. No need to put in a SIM card, it's a hassle.

I ordered two eSIM cards. One for me and one for my wife. For some reason, the connection didn't work in China, which was disappointing at first. Then it turned out I needed to enable roaming in the SIM card settings (iPhone 17). And I got a connection in the Philippines. The reception is pretty good, you can even make video calls.
