My guide was Otilia. Time planning was great, we had sufficient time at all destinations and attractions on the journey. Otilia was a knowledgeable and passionate guide who really shared a lot of stories about Romanian history which I found very interesting myself. However, we were unable to enter Peles Castle unless we paid extra, close to 30 euros, which is too much.★

Ana is the most competent, thoughtful and caring guide you could ask for. Always super precise in giving everyone extensive information about averything we see as well as details regarding meeting spots/times, tips on where to eat and drink and virtually anything that you might be interested in. Very sweet and easy-going, we felt super taken care of and had a great time with her around the beautiful sights of Transilvania.★

Our tour was led by Silvia, who was energetic, passionate, professional and very knowledgeable about what we were going to see and do. I was a little apprehensive about the length of the tour being 12hours, but it didn't feel very long at all.
The castles are visited in whatever order the traffic dictates with Brasov in between.
We visited Bran Castle first which was stunning, and whilst the alloted time didn't seem that much, it was sufficient as it is only a small castle surrounded by souvenir shops.
Brasov is a beautiful old town and we had sufficient time to lunch and explore.
Peles Castle was the one I knew the least about so didn't know what to expect, however Sylvia provided a very informative tour of the ground floor and we had free time to explore the few room upstairs. This is a truly beautiful castle and we'll worth seeing.
In addition to the initial fee paid, there are other opportunities to pay for orientation tours out of the bus which are 50Lei (10€) and entries to the two castles - Other than Bran Castle, which you scan a QR code these are expected in cash. This is all clearly explained in the initial email and subsequent ticket reminder emails.
I would highly recommend this trip.★
