The following areas had excellent signal: Italy (Rome, Milan, Monza, Padua, Belluno, Venice, Ravenna), Austria (Salzburg, Innsbruck), and Germany (Munich, Frankfurt). However, the signal in Florence was intermittent. My travel companions also reported the same issue with eSIM, which affected their Google Maps usage. This may be due to the generally poor signal in the area.

I used it when sightseeing in Zurich. The setup process involved opening the voucher sent via email, taking a photo of the QR code with another device, and scanning it on the device I was using, or opening the URL and scanning it. It was easy to set up. While it might depend on the location, I was able to use it in Liechtenstein, which is next to Switzerland, as it picked up Swiss signals. (Although I only used it for Google Maps.)

During my Swiss railway trip, besides the physical SIM card provided by the travel agency, I also bought an eSIM, which worked much better than the ones the other group members had. You don't need to worry about Trip.com products.
