Reviews: From Ljubljana: Lake Bled Tour

We did the half day tour from Ljubljana to lake bled with Emil and we were lucky enough to be the only customers so it was like a private tour. We were collected on time at 7:30am and were dropped off at the far side of lake bled for a lovely peaceful walk back to where the boats left and caught one at 9am to the island. It was nice to go across and see the island but it only takes a few minutes to walk around but we had 45 mins there which was a bit too long but this is the standard time. Unfortunately there was a very heavy mist so we couldn't see the castle at all, but Emil still drove us up there just so we could check but could not see anything so did not bother going in. Then just before we left we walked along the promenade for a few mins just as the cloud lifted and we finally saw the castle, the sun and blue skies - perfect! Emil was a great guide, really informative and wanted to give us the best tour and tried to shuffle the itinerary around to best suit the weather.★

Really enjoyed the rowing across to the island at Lake Bled and the hike to viewpoint also at Lake Bled. Nice to see Lake Bohinj but not much really to stop for at this time of year. Food stop was lovely (even though I didn’t need to eat) just to try the dumplings with cottage cheese and jam. Very safe driving and well planned day★

Reviews: Whitewater Rafting on the Soča River in Bovec, Slovenia

We visited Soca river and did the white water rafting. Born was our guide. We had such a good time. Loved the swimming, jumping off rocks and rafting itself. Born was fun, informative and gave us good training so we could enjoy ourselves and get down the river safely. We had 9 in our rafts so it was pretty heavy. This made it hard to move and we got stuck a few times. Had a great time though and would totally recommend it.
