I was satisfied with the trip, especially the hotel...
However, although the last day was supposed to be free time, they still scheduled a day off, greatly shortening my free time and disrupting my plans... Overall, though, the trip was still very worthwhile...★

Although it is called mountain climbing, it is only a matter of climbing stairs, so anyone can do it. The ruins are well maintained and are a great place for Buddhists. Water and sandals are provided, so you can easily participate.★

From the time we left the hotel at 7 AM until we returned at 4 PM, my partner Thoriq kept me entertained with pleasant conversation and attentiveness, making the car rides and short waits at the ruins enjoyable.
Climbing Borobudur requires a ticket reservation, and by the time I realized it, they were already sold out. However, I was able to find this tour that included the climbing ticket by searching TripAdvisor. Needless to say, visiting both Prambanan and Borobudur was a wonderful experience. In addition, driving with Thoriq made my trip to Yogyakarta very satisfying. He even recommended some ice cream shops in Yogyakarta, knowing that I love ice cream.★

It happened to be a one-on-one tour, and I was very satisfied with the content. The guide was fluent in Japanese, so it was perfect, and he was very considerate and took lots of photos. This price does not include tickets, so it was quite a splurge of about 13,000 yen extra! (Borobudur about 450k, Prambanan Temple 400k, Mount Merapi attraction 450k rupiah). I especially recommend it for those who want to know more about history!★

I joined this tour solo and really enjoyed it. My guide, Seta, was polite and friendly, and helped me take photos at every place we visited. The day I went was cloudy, so I didn’t get to see either the sunrise or sunset, but it didn’t spoil the experience at all.
After visiting Borobudur, we went on a jeep ride — we visited a volcano eruption museum, saw a lava rock shaped like a face, and drove along the river. After that, we had a coffee break before heading to Prambanan just in time for sunset.
Overall, I had a great experience and wonderful memories from this tour.
