Sharing the experience of an impressive city centre with a friendly group and a charming guide. Loved the Black Sabbath bridge and the canal quarter. Hated the woke disclaimer on the golden boys statue. The Enlightenment and Industrial Revolution were what ended Slavery and eventually colonialism. These evils had existed for thousands of years precisely until the 18th century humanitarian revolution in Britain.★

We had a guided tour by a chap whose name escapes me (has white hair). The information he gave was immense and captivating and allowed us the compare a victorian prison with the modern day version. It was extremely informative and the tour time evaporated. Remarkable visit and well worth the entry price. Cannot reccomend enough
