Initially, the female tour guide assigned to me, a surnamed Liu, was awful. I've never encountered such a poor attitude and such a lot of nonsense. She didn't even know there are two East Gates at the Temple of Heaven. We drove to the East Gate parking lot and definitely entered through this one. We couldn't find it for ages. I called her, and she was awful. She told us to find it ourselves, which made us walk around for ages. After we found it, she asked why I didn't use WeChat. "Did you add me on WeChat?" I was speechless. 😓 Luckily, the tour guide I was later replaced with, Cai, from the same company, was much better and well-informed. I'd only use a tour guide like her next time. I don't know how that Liu got the job!★

Our trip to the Forbidden City was made possible thanks to our guide, Li Xue, from Snail Culture and Travel! Not only did she meticulously explain the craftsmanship of the "golden brick" paving of the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the ritual functions of the Hall of Central Harmony, and the meticulous detailing of the three main halls, but she also vividly recounted the daily lives of the Ming and Qing emperors in the Palace of Heavenly Purity and the harem, even articulating the meaning of the arrangement of the animals on the eaves. This truly gave us a sense of the Forbidden City's history. Her tour was both professional and engaging. Her meticulous pace and well-planned breaks and photo opportunities ensured we not only fully understood the Forbidden City but also had a relaxing and enjoyable time!★

The view in Linggu Cave is better than the Shanjuan Cave. The Shanjuan Cave is the kind of unobstructed hall. Linggu Cave needs to go around and see, and the style is more. Linggu Cave is a little cold in Yixing***, and it feels comfortable to travel with fewer people. Trip.com It is very convenient to buy tickets. Yangxian Lake near Linggu Cave has a good view, you can go to see it.
