We had a great experience taking the half-day tour of the Forbidden City. The tour guide, Mr. Zhang Guoxing, gave a very serious explanation. Many historical stories were told in a vivid and interesting way. The entire tour time was just right. We will definitely take part in it again if we have the chance in the future.

Our tour guide, Lilia is very experienced. With more than 17 years of experience, she knows all the shortcuts and the best views including photo spots so that you will get the best photos and avoid spending unnecessary time! She checked the weather the day before the tour and based on the weather report, she adjusted the tour and suggested to start the tour earlier. She rearrange the tour so that we can avoid the crowd and be at a better place when it rains. She is also very knowledgeable of the history of both places and offering many insights and stories which really makes the whole tour so much more interesting! If you are intending to visit the Great Wall of China and forbidden forest, please book through Leoprivatetour and request for Lilia! They are very efficient and the best!

We had the most incredible experience! Our guide Rita from Leo’s tour was everything you could hope for—patient, funny, deeply knowledgeable, and truly attentive to our needs. She took the time to understand what we were looking for and adjusted the schedule to match our pace and interests perfectly. Her English was flawless, and her warmth made the whole day feel like we were exploring with a good friend. The driver was also fantastic—kind, professional, and made us feel completely at ease throughout the journey. Everything was superb from start to finish.
