Our trip to the Forbidden City was made possible thanks to our guide, Li Xue, from Snail Culture and Travel! Not only did she meticulously explain the craftsmanship of the "golden brick" paving of the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the ritual functions of the Hall of Central Harmony, and the meticulous detailing of the three main halls, but she also vividly recounted the daily lives of the Ming and Qing emperors in the Palace of Heavenly Purity and the harem, even articulating the meaning of the arrangement of the animals on the eaves. This truly gave us a sense of the Forbidden City's history. Her tour was both professional and engaging. Her meticulous pace and well-planned breaks and photo opportunities ensured we not only fully understood the Forbidden City but also had a relaxing and enjoyable time!★

The highest level of professionalism! He explained everything without even knowing the language.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to our guide for a unique excursion. Before the tour, I was worried I wouldn't understand anything due to the language barrier (I don't speak English). But my guide turned out to be a true master of his craft! He found ways to convey information, pointed out details on maps, and communicated through a translator. Thanks to his patience and desire to truly explain, not just memorize, I not only understood everything but was completely engaged. This was an invaluable experience and a truly human touch. Peter was our assigned driver and he was a superb guide. Car was a big and comfortable Honda sedan with water included. Peter went above and beyond to buy tickets for us and guide us along a section of the Great Wall. Best service we received in China!!!★
