We had a wonderful experience led by Emmanuel, who, in addition to his expertise, organized a tour that gave us a real glimpse into the Burgundy wine region. He was very friendly toward us and spiced up the program with plenty of humor. Together with the group, we enjoyed every stop on the tour. We are very grateful to him for this unforgettable day!

I went alone, but the tour guide was very nice and kept asking me questions. My English isn't good, so I couldn't understand the conversations of the other two couples, but I still managed to listen to some of the wine information and taste three wineries. There were many wines to try, the oldest being from 2017. However, I prefer inexpensive, mid-range wines; the more expensive ones have more complex flavors, which I don't understand. At the last winery, I broke a fridge magnet, and he replaced it with a new one without saying anything. Everyone seemed very friendly. The itinerary was: first, a winery with vineyards, then lunch (a three-course French meal at your own expense, very delicious; the salmon was much better than in Japan, and I had a whole rabbit leg this time, even though I'd only ever had a bite of rabbit before). After lunch, we visited the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti vineyard, saw the church in the distance, then went to another winery, and finally returned to the last large winery. And that was it—I was drunk… Too much to list.

I was a little nervous about participating alone as a woman, but our guide, Matilda, was very kind and explained everything in easy-to-understand English, making it a very enjoyable and fulfilling tour. The car ride was very comfortable, allowing us to enjoy the scenery while she guided us. We were also blessed with good weather, making it a truly memorable experience! Thank you so much!

What I liked most was the tranquility: being a small group, the guide explained everything incredibly well, with a thousand details, and then gave us time to explore the caves on our own and enjoy the place at our leisure. After the tour, we went up to the main room for a tasting of five wines. The guide explained everything in detail and answered all our questions. It's a great plan, and the winery is beautiful.

Our guide was great! He obviously knows the history of the city and region, but he tailored the information to what we knew and our interests. Along the way we went into little shops and it was a great introduction to the food and specialties- setting us up to be able to go back later to do more shopping. He also made great recommendations for dinner- we had made all of our plans, but after looking at the menu of a place he recommended, we happily switched to that spot for dinner. He also accommodated my food allergies, which was really nice. The wine tasting and food pairing at the end was nicely done- we tried 5-6 wines and the food he’d bought along the way. Overall, a really great tour and guide!
