It's convenient that you can extend the SIM card's validity without reinstalling it. The signal, of course, can be a bit weak. But as I noticed in Vietnam, even Wi-Fi can't always download data quickly.★

I ordered two eSIM cards. One for me and one for my wife. For some reason, the connection didn't work in China, which was disappointing at first. Then it turned out I needed to enable roaming in the SIM card settings (iPhone 17). And I got a connection in the Philippines. The reception is pretty good, you can even make video calls.★
