Our guide, Made, was fantastic. We were able to start the temple tour early, giving us plenty of time to explore the area. He explained everything to us, took photos, and was already very familiar with the monkeys there. The Kecak dance is a particularly special sight. It's best to sit on the left side so you can see the temple at sunset.

Mr. Sandi is a fantastic private tour guide and driver. He is well prepared, super friendly, and patient. He speaks fluent English, told us a great deal about the culture and history of Bali. He didn’t mind working overtime, added a stop to a local coffee plantation to our itinerary which was lovely. We highly recommend Mr. Sandi!!

This is a must do in Bali! Waking up at 2am was hard but it was so worth it. The view was amazing! That sunset brought on some emotions, it was absolutely beautiful! The black lava rocks were also amazing to see! The guide that picked me up in the morning was one of the kindest people I’ve ever come across, I happen to mention I like coffee and he made a quick stop at a local coffee place for me to buy the best coffee on the way back. The jeep guide was also so knowledgeable about the area and made the trip extra fun with some good music. Both went above and beyond to ensure I enjoy the day.Overall, it was a really great, once in a lifetime experience! If you’re in Bali and you’re not doing this, you’re definitely missing out!
