This is a must do in Bali! Waking up at 2am was hard but it was so worth it. The view was amazing! That sunset brought on some emotions, it was absolutely beautiful! The black lava rocks were also amazing to see! The guide that picked me up in the morning was one of the kindest people I’ve ever come across, I happen to mention I like coffee and he made a quick stop at a local coffee place for me to buy the best coffee on the way back. The jeep guide was also so knowledgeable about the area and made the trip extra fun with some good music. Both went above and beyond to ensure I enjoy the day.Overall, it was a really great, once in a lifetime experience! If you’re in Bali and you’re not doing this, you’re definitely missing out!★

I would rate this experience 5 out of 5, but mainly thanks to the driver who picked us up early in the morning and later took us to the coffee plantation — he was excellent. Friendly, engaging, and shared interesting information along the way.
Unfortunately, the young driver who actually took us up to Mount Batur was not at the same level. The car was very old and shabby — while other groups had nice, colorful jeeps (red, yellow, well-maintained), ours looked run-down and worn out. He tried his best, but his English was quite limited and he clearly lacked experience as a guide. When it came to taking photos, he offered what he could, but compared to the other guides we saw — who knew many poses, encouraged couples, and created fun moments — it was obvious he still has a lot to learn.
I truly hope he will take these points into account and improve over time. For now, my 5-star rating goes to the first driver who was fantastic, but I believe with more practice the Batur driver will als★

Our trip to Mount Batur. (5 people) We were very lucky with the weather and saw the sunrise on Mount Batur. I want to express my gratitude to the organizer of this trip! Thank you for the excursion! Our journey started at 2 a.m., a driver came to pick us up and took us to the place where we transferred to jeeps. I want to thank our wonderful driver, Dewa, who was friendly, patient, and careful while driving throughout our entire journey. Dewa, you are awesome! Thank you! After arriving at the base, we drank coffee and transferred to jeeps, then headed up the mountain to meet the sunrise. Thank you very much to the drivers, you drove the cars wonderfully and were excellent photographers! You helped us take wonderful photos! Thank you for your patience! After meeting the sunrise, we went to see the lava. The drivers arranged a real photo shoot. Thank you! Next location: rice terraces. Then there was a waterfall. Thank you very much for the excursion! I recommend everyone to visit!
