The following areas had excellent signal: Italy (Rome, Milan, Monza, Padua, Belluno, Venice, Ravenna), Austria (Salzburg, Innsbruck), and Germany (Munich, Frankfurt). However, the signal in Florence was intermittent. My travel companions also reported the same issue with eSIM, which affected their Google Maps usage. This may be due to the generally poor signal in the area.

For 7 days of use in Turkey, the 10GB data plan was more than enough, as the WiFi on the tour bus was very strong. The eSIM experience also deserves five stars; 5G signal was available most of the time, with LTE only available on a few remote road sections. My family members also used other providers' physical SIM cards, and compared to them, the Trip plan was just as good. 👍

ESIM is incredibly smooth to use. I bought a 30-day European ESIM, and my first stop upon arrival was Istanbul. After installing it at Istanbul Airport, I turned on the data and it started working immediately. I used it all the way through Turkey, Greece, Albania, Montenegro, and finally Croatia, ending my 30-day data plan. I then bought another 30-day ESIM to continue my journey through Europe.

There was a bit of a commotion during installation, but the package installed successfully. We activated the QR code before traveling abroad. Overall, the connection was fine; I didn't notice any difference between 5G and regular LTE.

I have used this sim deal on several trips. I usually get a day more than I need to cover different time zones etc, plus the cost is reasonable so an extra day or 2 is negligible. I instal the day before I travel or even at the airport before I fly. It is so easy to install with the QR code (screenshot if necessary) or the code. I have Android but these can be used on iOS as well. I change my settings to prioritise Esim for data (I do this as I put phone into flight mode), then when I land the Esim kicks right in. Perfect. Good stable connection & ive not had any loss of connection. You can hot-spot for your other devices as well (tablets & firesticks) . So many UK phone contracts do not include Turkey in data roaming so this is perfect. I recommend this. I use Esims from Trip in many countries and have always had great service and value. It is so much cheaper than your own network roaming daily charge. Go with this option. 👍🏼
