Carlos was a pleasant and knowledgeable guide, and with his infectious cheerfulness, he proved to be the perfect person to share the natural beauty and history of the Bacalar Lagoon. He fluently spoke both Spanish and English to accommodate all participants. We spent just enough time visiting all the lagoon's highlights, pampered with delicious fresh fruit snacks and unlimited beer and soft drinks. Back at the base, there are restrooms and showers, as well as a convenient bar and an exquisite little restaurant, which was a true highlight of our Mexican vacation! Definitely one of the best places we ate. The knowledgeable staff gave us excellent advice, which we really appreciated.

We’re incredibly grateful to Fiona and her team for accommodating us after a mix-up when we arrived. Our guide, Sylvia, was absolutely amazing—everything you could hope for in a guide! She was knowledgeable, respectful, and so professional. It was our first anniversary, and Sylvia went out of her way to make it extra special for us. The lagoon was breathtaking, and the boat was spotless. We highly recommend this tour and will definitely be returning!

Miguel was a very knowledgeable and helpful tour guide. He prepared a fabulous breakfast and gave us lots of good local recommendations and facts.
