Very nice tour of the salt mine, the tour guide was very informative. We were lucky to be on our own and whatever we asked her she was gladfully ready to reply to our questions. Very nice place to visit especially if these things are new to you (since I come from an island without any mines etc) it was a very good knowledge to learn about it all. Highly recommended. The best part of the tour (everything was wonderful, but the highlight that I will never forget) are the slides going down (adrenaline rush) and the final place we visited where we had a light and music show in a cave, reflecting all in the water. Truly magical , 5 minutes show which were spectacular and you feel in peace, enjoy the beauty in front of you.

This half day tour is a great and convenient way to visit Hallstat. It is of course more expensive than taking the train or public bus+ferry to get to Hallstat, but it is certainly a time-saver. It's essentially a direct bus trip to Hallstat with a bit of commentary of interesting places that we passed and some history. Once you reached Hallstat, you will go around on your own for about 2.5 hours and the bus will come to pick up at a certain time. The 1.5 hours ride is comfortable and there's a power point at your seat if you need to charge your phone.

The trip was great. Roman was a driver, we arrived in Hallstatt safety and came back to Vienna on time. All trip was according to schedule. Alexander was a guide. He told as stories about Vienna and it's significant buildings. Also, he told us a historical facts about places that we passed on the way to Hallstatt. He spoke two languages English and Russian so everyone could understand. We had a free time in Hallstatt to take photos and familiarise with place on the foot. The view of the lake and mountains was magnificent.

The trip was excellent. The guide Olga was excellent. She gave detailed information of the places and their history. It was a wonderful trip to Hallstatt village. Thanks to the driver as well.

The local travel company in Austria is superb, the tour guide and the driver are very nice, and there is a certain basis for English communication, because the tour guide is introduced in English throughout the whole process, and the history of Austria is very detailed along the way, including Hallstatt, geographical location, and past stories. The whole process was introduced very well. I have the opportunity to go again next summer and still choose this local group. The winter is cold and the daytime is short. Basically, it will be dark at four o'clock in the afternoon. I will see the scenery of Summer next time!


