Naxos is located on the west coast of the island of the same name. It is the capital and largest town here, with ships connecting to all parts of Greece and other surrounding islands. It was once an important city-state shared by Greeks and Venetian Catholics in history, and is now a tourist destination in the Aegean region, always crowded with tourists every summer.
