Reviews: From Tromsø: Snowmobile Safari in the Lyngen Alps
Guest User2026-01-26
The excursion is incredible; everything is very well organized. When you arrive, the guides are waiting for you and take you to a lovely cabin where you have snacks and they explain everything. The drive through the Alps is beautiful. We made several stops, and when we returned, they served us soup and bread with butter. Many thanks to the guides for making this one of the best experiences in Tromsø!
Reviews: Tromsø: Scenic Arctic snowmobile safari in the Lyngen Alps

This trip is one that can’t be beat on a good weather day. Great views of the Lyngen Alps and fjords during the transportation and while on the snowmobiles themselves. The bus to ferry to shuttle is a bit of a commute, but once out on site, the views are great! They provide you with a thermal suit and helmets for safety. Afterwards you have time at the very nice little lunch spot for the hotel they also run, which has great view over the water! Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and made us consider spending time out in Lyngen separately from this trip.

Reviews: Reindeer feeding & Saami Culture
Guest User2025-01-06
This was a Christmas activity for our family of 5 as we celebrated in Tromso. It is a must-do experience for anyone visiting to enjoy this and learn about the Sami culture. It is a 45-minute journey from Tromso with an amazing view of the snow mountains. You are free to feed and take pictures with the reindeer for around the hour. The main hall is warm and has bread, tea, and hot chocolate. Lunch was bidos (reindeer stew) or vegetarian. Then, a sharing was done by John who is from northern Sami where he shared about customs, reindeers, gakti, etc. Weather is a huge factor in these trips and the tour bus could not return to us for pickup - with an hour’s delay, the crew was very apologetic and hardworking, arranging alternative transport on two smaller Mercedes vans. This experience was memorable and I highly recommend it for the exposure with lovely people!
Reviews: Breivikeidet: Cross-Country Skiing & Husky Visit
Guest User2026-01-26
We had a wonderful cross-country skiing experience. There were only two of us—me and my wife—in the morning batch, which made it feel very personal and relaxed. The guide was patient and knowledgeable, and taught us the basics of cross-country skiing step by step. The trail was perfect for beginners, making it easy to learn and enjoy the experience. We ended up skiing more than 3 km, which was a great achievement for first-timers. Despite the temperature being around -20°C, we stayed comfortable with the provided skiing accessories. One of the highlights was getting to meet the huskies—they were adorable and added to the overall charm of the experience. It was fun, well organized, and truly memorable
