Reviews: Athens: Cape Sounion & Poseidon Temple Sunset Half-Day Trip
Guest User2026-01-11
A very worthwhile trip to the cape; the scenery is dramatically beautiful even in bad weather. It was extremely windy. Whether you want to pay €20 to get a few meters closer to the temple is up to you, but I think the price is exorbitant. It's not really relevant here, but I find it a bit of a shame that, on the one hand, they charge exorbitant entrance fees for what there is to see, and then, on the other hand, far too little of that money is invested in something worthwhile. €20 for this small area—the entrance fee to Pompeii, where you can't see everything in a week, costs €18. It's not as bad in Greece as in Turkey, but it's not that far removed from tourist traps either...
Reviews: Athens: Acropolis, Parthenon & Acropolis Museum Guided Tour

Your was outstanding. Our guide could answer all our questions. She was very patient and helpful. She gave me her hand to get through the rough spots. She often warned us of slippery spots and to be careful. Alexandra is an outstanding guide.
Reviews: Athens: Greek Food Walking Tour in Athens
Guest User2026-01-04
Our tour began in Monastiraki Square with ten strangers and ended in the same spot with ten new friends. Dorela was wonderfully engaging and informative. What’s more she helped develop a feeling of camaraderie among the people on the tour. I’ve never experienced a walking tour with a more interesting, lively and fun group anywhere in the world. This experience will stay with us forever.
Reviews: Athens: Acropolis, Parthenon and Acropolis Museum Guided Tour

We had our tour today and it was amazing! Julia was our tour guide. She blended a lot of history, stories and passion into her tour. We absolutely loved it. You will walk quite a bit, but the tour stops often so you can rest. We had family with kids and older people who were able to keep up. Strongly suggest this vendor. Our tour included tickets and it was worth it.
Reviews: Athens: Greek Cooking Class & Dinner on a Rooftop
Guest User2026-01-05
This experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The chef was wonderful - warm, talented, and clearly very passionate about Greek cuisine. Cooking together was a joy, and sharing the meal afterwards made it even more special. Honestly, I’ve never eaten such delicious Greek food before!
Reviews: Athens: Acropolis & up to 5 Archaeological Sites Combo Pass
Guest User2026-01-04
To activate the tickets, you do have to read the manual a few times. But it worked perfectly in the end. I recommend planning your visit carefully. In winter, most archaeological sites close earlier! And for the Acropolis, you need to reserve a time slot, but check a few hours before the others to see if there's space available, as you also need to reserve a time slot there! (It was very unclear that this was necessary.)
