This was a fantastic day exploring! While the Great Pyramids of Giza are crawling with tourists, you can exploring some of the Pyramids of the earlier dynasties (including the Step Pyramid in Sakkara, the first Pyramid built in Egypt) with practically no one around! We had the Red Pyramid all to ourselves! For a small additional fee ($3US approx) you can climb down into the Red and Bent Pyramids and explore inside. It’s amazing!!! Memphis has the large recumbent Ramses II, which is so impressive. A nice buffet lunch followed our tour, could not have asked for a better tour. Our guide Ali was very kind and knowledgable, was on time for pick up, and never made us feel rushed. Stopped for us to get drinks and dates from a street vendor. Driver Moustafa was great as well, good driver. Highly recommend this tour!!
