Our tour guide, Mariam, on this trip picked us up and we stopped by a local gas station where they grabbed a snack and water for us before heading to the pyramids. After this point the entry and energy of the tour was simple and without too many obstacles. She was very excited to teach us the culture and had no problem answering any questions.
Throughout the tour, the tour guide was extremely helpful setting up the upcoming days for a super fair price. This trip has been amazing and Mariam is a great tour guide. We would love to come back someday!★

Traveling solo, I was completely intimidated by all the Egypt guides I'd read online. With trepidation, I booked a day tour, and it completely changed my expectations. My guide, a middle-aged man, was incredibly enthusiastic and professional, filling me in on Egyptian history. He explained he'd been a Chinese-speaking tour guide for over 20 years, welcoming numerous Chinese tourists. His proud expression was truly endearing. At the end of the trip, I tipped him and the driver $10 each, which was well worth it. Cairo is shabby, but not as scary as the guides suggest. The driver and guide the travel agency arranged for me were truly wonderful people!★

I was collected by car from my apartment at the arranged time and taken to meet Hend (I hope the spelling is correct) the tour guide. On the brief journey to the Giza Plateau, Hend explained the history of Egyptian antiquities and conveyed the itinerary of the day and what to expect with the personalised tour. During the tour my questions were answered with interesting dialogue and I felt confident with her to discuss archeological and cultural facts, findings and queries. I was returned to my apartment after the tour, museum and meal.★
