Hannah took us on the Greenwich secret food tour. She was brilliant! Friendly, funny and full of knowledge of the history of the area. Our bellies were full with the most delicious foods and our brains were stimulated with interesting facts and history of the area. We did the double tour of the High Line walk followed by the Greenwich Village Food tour. Dave reached out the day prior to make sure we were all set and instructions on where to meet him. We had Dave all to ourselves! From the moment we met until we parted ways, he was so professional and knowledgeable.
Let’s start with the walk. What a lovely surprise in the middle of New York. The history is so interesting and the walk is jut lovely. The various architecture and the history behind them is fun. Even with it being so hot, the grounds weee green and beautifully maintained.
The walk took us right into Chelsea Market. This was the beginning of the food tour and oh my goodness, what a treat! Let’s say if you have never had a pasties de nata, well, you are in for a treat! I will not give away everywhere we went as you need to take the tour, meet Dave, and get ready for some incredible food experiences! This is a special treat!
Put your walking shoes on and get ready for a fabulous day! I hope you get Dave as your guide as we thought he was awesome, thoughtful and so kind!
