It is located in Westerålen Park, north of Rosenborg Castle. It is also the largest art gallery in Denmark.</li><li>The construction started in 1889 and was completed in 1896. There is a "world clock" above the clock tower door, which has 13 sets of mechanical devices running simultaneously, showing the time of various parts of the world and various astronomical times.</li><li>The City Hall on the square was built in 1905 and designed by architect Martin Nieuwapp. Its architecture combines the styles of ancient Denmark and the Italian Renaissance. The magnificent main hall of the City Hall is mainly used for wedding ceremonies and official receptions. The gilded statue above the main entrance of the City Hall is the founder of Copenhagen, Archbishop Absalon.
