In summer, the area is home to a plethora of birdlife: egrets, puffins, black-legged kittiwakes, Arctic terns, fulmars, and eider ducks. Sometimes, even Iceland's king of birds, the white-tailed eagle, makes an appearance. Bredafjord is a bird lover's paradise, with countless seabirds nesting on the cliffs and reefs. From elegant Arctic terns to majestic sea eagles, the sky is filled with the sights and sounds of birds, providing endless opportunities for observation and photography.
