The 17 mile drive loop is amazing but many sections have no dedicated bike lane so you’re right up against traffic. Tourists in cars are busy taking in the sights and the locals are generally annoyed by the tourists on bikes and in cars so can be a bit nerve wracking if you don’t have much experience on a bike. Obviously nothing the tour operators can do about any of this but, just a heads up!

A wonderful tour where we saw many humpback whales and sea lions. A very good captain who always put us in the right position. A fantastic experience!

It took an hour, but by then we had seen many humpback whales, sea lions, and other fish/whales. One even went under the ship. The information from the guide was super interesting, and we learned a lot about these friendly reeds. We'd love to go again.


