Reviews: University of Oxford + Shakespeare's Birthplace + Cotswold Way + Warwick Castle day tour
Guest User2025-07-14
Overall was good. The trip would have been excellent, if the stay in Oxford could have been longer with shorter stay in the castle. The duration in the castle did not need to be that long, as there was not much to see after guided tour. On the other hand, there were a lot interesting building to explore.
Reviews: UK Stonehenge + Bath + Shakespeare's Hometown 1-Day Tour | Multiple Packages Optional

Our tour guide was the most humorous and knowledgeable person we'd ever met. His name was Brian, and everyone had a great time. It was like a stand-up comedy routine! When we said goodbye, everyone surrounded him, laughing. We didn't have time to say much. Our guide was very stylishly dressed. The journey was longer than other day tours. Bath, Stonehenge, and Shakespeare Town were all perfect. A super photogenic day! Our group members came from Australia, the United States, India, and other parts of the country. It was a lively and fun-filled day.

Very pleasant quiet and leisurely cruise along the river past the RSC theatre and the Holy Trinity Church. Audio guide and map available on board.
Reviews: City Sightseeing Stratford-upon-Avon Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour

Booked a week and a bit in advance - later found out we could have saved £4 as both seniors. It had rained for a few hours before we got on the bus at Stop No.1 (Tourist Info Shoo). Fortunately took kitchen roll so avoided a wet rear upstairs. Somebody came round and gave us a pack of earphones and ensured we pressed the right button for English. You can ask for a map of the route from the Tourist Info Office. Free. Ten stops on the tour that took 50 minutes - you can hop on or hop off anytime all day, though we just went from start to finish. Loads of first class info, historical facts as well as aspects such as how “sayings” and “phrases” came about from the 16th Century. Brilliant to hear. Very windy up on top, especially in the countryside bits. However, an amazing 50 mins. Ticket lasts all day if you want to use it as a “taxi”. Defo Recommend. Just watch out for the discount, which wasn’t obvious on-line. You can buy the tickets from the Tourist Info Centre and they tell you about the discount.
