
Before each train, bus or ferry ride, passengers must add their itinerary in the Eurail mobile app. If not, passengers may be fined or asked to purchase a full fare.
Most train stations in the Netherlands have entry/exit gates on their platforms. To enter or exit the platform, passengers must present their ticket and scan a QR code to pass through the gate.
If the gate fails to open due to an abnormality in the QR code, please press the blue contact button next to the gate and the station staff will immediately assist the passenger.
Unactivated and unused passes are eligible for a 100% refund. Refund requests must be submitted no later than 6 months from the latest activation date indicated on the mobile pass. The mobile pass is considered activated if the first and last days of validity are selected on the mobile pass.
