Both the director and the driver were very enthusiastic, and now is the off-season, there are very few people, but the scenery is still very beautiful, there is no forced buying or selling, forced consumption does not exist, we went to a boss and drank many kinds of tea for free, black tea, white tea, oolong tea, all free to drink. The boss himself also said that if you can buy it, buy some, it doesn't matter if you don't buy it, anyway, the boss is a local, he said it's like drinking tea at home, don't worry too much★

Tuo Luo Keng was one of the highlights of my Fujian trip. The view from above — the famous “Four Dishes and One Soup” — was breathtaking, and walking inside the tulou gave me a glimpse of real Hakka life: wooden balconies, families drying produce, and tea stalls.
What made the trip extra special was our guide, Kathy. She explained the history in clear English, made everything easy to understand, and even brought us to a local pearl store. Unlike touristy shops, this place felt authentic with fair prices and friendly sellers. It turned the visit into more than sightseeing — it felt like a cultural exchange.
💡 Tip: Ask for Kathy if you want an English-speaking guide who goes beyond the usual tour. She made our day smooth, fun, and memorable.★

The service from Wendy, our customer service representative, and Xiao Qi, our tour guide, was excellent. However, the lunch during the trip was disappointing. We recommend finding a more unique or better-quality restaurant.
