Depart El Calafate in the morning and head to the Perito Moreno Glacier, located within Los Glaciares National Park. Head to the western tip of the Magallanes Peninsula and enjoy plenty of time to explore this natural ice formation. Start your tour of the national park by walking along a 4-kilometer (2.5-mile) network of boardwalks. See the glacier from multiple angles as you climb to different levels and balconies. Spend 2 hours exploring, with time for Lunch. Take an optional 1-hour boat ride in front of the glacier's north face. At the end of your tour, return to El Calafate along your original route, arriving in the evening.
