Join us on a journey to the fishing village of St Andrews, the home of golf. St Andrews is a beautiful and peaceful Scottish town. Due to its many contributions to the development of golf, it is also known as the "Hometown of Golf". Depart Edinburgh in the morning, cross the Forth Bridge and enter the ancient "Kingdom of Fife", pass through the small town of Aberdour, and enter the fishing village of East Neuk in Fife. Stop in the charming seaside town of Anstruther, home of the Scottish Fisheries Museum. Then pass through the villages of Pittenweem, Crail and St. Monans, which were once thriving fishing centres. Arrive in the medieval town of St. Andrews, where you can take a walk around the town. It was there that Prince William met Kate and it is home to Scotland’s ancient universities, cathedrals and golf courses. Enjoy approximately three hours of free exploration here. You can admire the medieval architecture in the center of the town, walk along the wonderful cobbled streets, or sit back and relax with lunch and snacks. On the way back, we passed through the Lomond Mountains and headed to another charming village in Fife: Falkland for a short photo session. The village was once used as the backdrop for 1960s Inverness in the Outlander series. Then we came to Loch Leven (the scene of Mary Queen of Scots’ imprisonment and escape).
