It took almost two hours to reach the Longji Rice Terraces. The scenery was stunning, with golden terraces cascading down in layers – definitely worth a visit. However, I didn't understand why the tour guide said there was a 100 RMB entrance fee per person to Ping'an Village, which wasn't mentioned when we bought the ticket.

We were incredibly fortunate to have chosen Ctrip for our private tour of the Longji Rice Terraces, a journey of thousands of miles. We were especially lucky to have met our driver, Mr. Li! Mr. Li was extremely meticulous and attentive, with superb driving skills on the mountain roads! He not only provided a warm and detailed introduction to the scenic area but also tried his best to accommodate our requests. Because of our age, he repeatedly reminded us to be careful on the slopes and patiently accompanied us, including guiding us along the route and helping us take photos. We were deeply moved and are very grateful!

A very nice cruise with shows and views of an otherwise inaccessible part of the city! It's a shame the guide only spoke Chinese, so the explanation was incomprehensible to us!

I'm writing this in Japanese because I especially want to recommend it to people from Japan. First of all, I highly recommend this tour. If you can speak even a little English, it's a wonderful and fun tour that's more reasonably priced than other tours considering the content. Our guide, Cris, is an intelligent and cheerful young man with long-term experience living abroad. He answered our questions carefully in English that was easy for Japanese people to understand, about the places we visited, ethnic minorities, history, agricultural products, and transportation. He's a guide who knows a lot about different countries and can tell us stories without bias. It was a very enjoyable tour. The recommended lunch restaurant was also delicious, reasonably priced, and had a great local feel. I made the reservation the afternoon before, and the pick-up from the hotel on the day of the tour was smooth. He also helped to connect me with a fellow participant from Ireland, and it was a great opportunity to learn about different countries and cultures. It's a shame I forgot to take a picture with Cris.

A beautiful, picturesque place. You could walk for hours, but we limited ourselves to an hour. It's best to take transport up and walk back down. Everyone does this except for those dreary Europeans who have to walk everywhere. It's best to go in October, when the terraces are yellow.
