Every place described in the itinerary was visited right on schedule. It was completely hassle-free and super fun! The driver explained all the meeting points and ticket details very clearly really makes a huge difference when the driver is so detailed and organized with the logistics—it lets you just relax and enjoy every minute of the trip.

Reviews: Kyoto Day Tour: Arashiyama + Sanzen-in + Kifune Shrine (Departure from Osaka or Kyoto | Optional Hotel Pickup / Small Group with Sagano Romantic Train)
Guest User2026-09-07
Having visited Kyoto several times, I finally realized I should explore more attractions instead of just stopping at Hanamikoji, Kiyomizu-dera, Fushimi, Inari, and Nishiki Market. So, I joined a small day tour to see three places I'd never been before. Since many Kyoto attractions are scattered, it's really inconvenient to visit several places in one day without a car. Sanzen-in Temple, Kifune Shrine, and Arashiyama—if I had to choose, I'd visit Sanzen-in Temple multiple times; it's so beautiful! Of course, early September isn't peak autumn foliage season, so Arashiyama wasn't at its most beautiful. Personally, I felt that without the autumn leaves, the place resembled Anji or Tonglu in Zhejiang—green mountains, clear water, and bamboo forests, nothing particularly special. The small tour departed from Osaka, which was especially convenient for us living in Kyoto, as we could sleep in a little longer, have breakfast, and wait for the tour bus to pick us up. The driver even arranged for me to be a tour guide on the spot, giving me tickets for the Sagano Scenic Railway and letting me lead nine people on a round-trip train journey and arrange seating. It was quite fun.

Reviews: [Small Group of 9] Kyoto Kifune Shrine + Arashiyama + Sanzenin Temple Day Trip
Guest User2026-07-18
The driver was so kind and helpful! We overslept, and he waited for us for a long time, picking us up directly from Osaka Station. The itinerary was great, though it would have been even better if we had more time to explore each place. Arashiyama was so beautiful, and it was a bit of a shame we didn't have enough time to ride the little train. We'll definitely go again next time.

Reviews: Small group | Arashiyama · optional Sagano Romantic Train & Kifune Shrine & Sanzen-in 1-day tour | Osaka/Kyoto

This place would be absolutely amazing if the autumn leaves were in full bloom; I guess I'll have to wait until next autumn to go again. But summer has its own unique beauty too; Kifune Shrine was also very nice, and the guides were all incredibly dedicated. Even though it was really hot, it was wonderful to experience different places in Kyoto!

Reviews: Kyoto's ancient charm: A day trip to Fushimi Inari Shrine and Nara to feed the deer, with optional small group tours including hotel pick-up and drop-off.
Guest User2026-10-24
It was Friday, October 26/23, with Guide Oh Seok-bong's team. I had seen him mentioned quite a bit in reviews... and as expected, he made the whole trip fun and enjoyable with his cheerful wit and sense of humor. Fortunately, we had a weather fairy with bright sunshine, so the photos turned out beautifully. I followed his tips for each place—"Don't eat this" and "Make sure to stay far from this"—and wow, every choice was top-notch! If anyone is planning an Osaka-Kyoto trip, I definitely want to recommend this tour.
