We had a great day trip with Gus as our guide. Even though it was advertised as a geoup trip, it was only us and one other couple, which was nice. Gus gave a lot of insight about the religion and culture of Bali and was really happy and friendly the whole day. We even did two sidestops that weren‘t on the itinerary for an even better experience! Would recommend any time.

We booked a driver for two days. The first day in Ubud was wonderful. On the second day, we decided to go to Sekumpu Waterfall. It was a three-hour drive, but the driver didn't know the route and didn't use the GPS, so we spent an extra hour and a half on the trip. We asked to stop and change money before Sekumpu, but they didn't. In the end, we didn't have enough money for entertainment, even though the drive was very long. In general, if you're traveling long distances, make sure the driver knows the route and knows how to use the GPS.
