The secret garden of the Nantes people was established by Henry IV in 1593. It covers an area of about 5 hectares and is located in the center of Nantes. The botanical garden has been listed as a historical monument. Attached to the medical school, it was once a space completely dedicated to research and teaching. Now it is a secret place for local people, and many people find a corner to read quietly.

Alderdi Eder parkea is a pleasant urban park and leisure area situated south of Old Town and northeast of La Concha Beach. The park is filled with palm trees, other interesting tree species and nicely landscaped flowerbeds. There are walking paths, park benches, a merry-go-round and other light entertainment for the little ones. You can see the historic City Hall building and walk along the promenade enjoying views of the sea and beach nearby at Alderdi Eder Parkea. Overall, this is a nice spot if you are looking for green space or leisure grounds while in San Sebastian. Note that there is not much shade anywhere in the park so bring a hat and apply sunscreen if you plan to spend much time here.
