Burgos Cathedral

Burgos Cathedral is located in Burgos, northern Spain. It is the third largest Catholic church in Spain and an independent cathedral declared as a cultural heritage of humanity. In 1221, King Ferdinand III of the Kingdom of Castile ordered its construction, which took more than three centuries to complete. The church is a Gothic building that is compatible with other artistic styles. The front door of forgiveness has star-shaped rose windows and arched decorations with statues of kings of successive dynasties.
