Shennong Stream, nestled beside the Shuangshen Line in Badong County, is like a green ribbon winding through the high mountains and steep ridges of western Hubei. It originates from the southern slope of Shennongjia, the highest peak in Central China, spans approx. 60 km in total length, and flows into the Yangtze River at Xirangkou, making it a shining pearl along The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River route. The canyon scenery here is unique, with four canyons—Longchang Gorge, Yingwu Gorge, Shennong Gorge, and Mianzhu Gorge—each possessing its own distinct characteristics. Longchang Gorge is famous for its grandeur, with cliffs on both banks and an average width of less than 20 m. Traveling through it by boat feels like navigating a secluded alleyway, a place where the Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu once composed poetry. Yingwu Gorge showcases elegance, with lush vegetation on both banks that remains evergreen throughout the seasons, dripping rock water, cascading waterfalls, and the Yanziqian Cave, which can accommodate thousands of short-billed swifts. Shennong Gorge is long and remote, with attractions like Shennong Stone and Jiukong Rock telling ancient legends, while Mianzhu Gorge is named for the vast stretches of green bamboo on both banks and serves as a precious relic of ancient geological tectonic movements.Badong · 33.1km from downtown

The national AAAA-rated attraction Yuxian Valley is nestled in the heart of Badashan (also known as Jinzi Mountain) in Xiling Town, Badong County, Hubei Province, 10 km from the county seat. This scenic wonder integrates historical sites, caves, gorges, forests, springs, and waterfalls into one breathtaking landscape. As the core location of Badong's ancient Eight Sceneries - "Night Rain on Badashan" and "Immortal Spring in Wudong Cave" - it boasts profound historical and cultural significance, with its name "Yuxian Valley" derived from keywords of these two iconic scenes. Situated along the mysterious 30°N latitude line, Yuxian Valley spans 300 hectares. The entire canyon resembles a crouching dragon along the Yangtze River, preserving 350 million years of geological wonders that earned its reputation as the "Geological Wonderbook of the Three Gorges". Towering cliffs frame lush vegetation, cascading waterfalls, and serene mountain birdsongs, with numerous karst caves maintaining a pleasant year-round temperature of around 20˚C - making it an ideal retreat for leisure and summer escapes. This place holds a unique geographical significance—it marks both the central point of the Three Gorges and the cultural boundary between the Ba and Chu civilizations, earning it the title "Heart of the Three Gorges, Gateway to Badong." The landmark sculpture "Three Gorges Center Point" stands prominently in the attraction. Steeped in history, the area preserves timeless relics: cliff carvings like "Clouds Parting over Chu Gorge," "Sacred Peaks," and "Immortal Spring of Enlightenment" chronicle the Yangtze River's evolution; structures such as White Cloud Pavilion, Pine View Pavilion, and the Kou Zhun Stele Forest recount tales of the famed statesman Kou Zhun. The ancient Autumn Pool echoes Li Shangyin's Tang dynasty poem "Night Rain: To My Wife Up North": "You ask when I'll return—no set date yet; night rain in Badong swells the autumn pool. When may we trim wicks by the west window, reminiscing of this night's rain in the hills?" Wuyuan Cave in the valley has long been known as a "sacred mountain and fairy spring," forming a geological wonder for Three Gorges scientific research. The cave is spacious with stunning stalactites resembling a maze. Inside lies a century-old icy river that flows year-round with chilling waters deep enough for boating. As the only navigable cave in the Three Gorges area, its developed cave boating exploration experience has become a favorite among visitors. The attraction's viral hotspot - Night Rain Pool, named after Li Shangyin's poem "Night rain on Mount Ba fills the autumn pool," is an infinity-edge heated pool by the Yangtze River. Fed by spring water from Wudong Fairy Spring and equipped with China's top-tier water purification system, the pool's mineral-rich waters offer beauty-enhancing properties. Seamlessly blending with the surrounding natural scenery, it's hailed as "The Premier Pool of the Three Gorges." Bashan Magical Night, the signature night tour at this attraction, offers a fantastical journey set against canyon landscapes. Combining high-tech lighting and sound effects with immersive performances, this experience brings to life the theme "Whispering Night Rain in Bashan, Exploring Cave Wonders, Embarking on a Magical Night." It has become a favorite among visitors! Rain Immortal Valley is not just a natural wonderland featuring deep gorges, cascading waterfalls, and spectacular karst caves—it's also a cultural sanctuary steeped in a millennium of poetic tradition and the mystical aura of Bashan's night rains. Here, mountains and rivers possess soul, plants whisper emotions, silent stone carvings recount history, and nocturnal rains rhythmically compose verses. Visit Yuxian Valley to hear the timeless melody of Bashan night rain, explore the legendary immortal spring in the caves, marvel at the "billion-year geology and thousand-year poetic charm," and find your soul's retreat amidst the picturesque landscape.Badong · 8.5km from downtown

Ba River is a national AAAA-level tourist Attraction. It is a magical valley on the 30th parallel north. It is known as "the masculine mountain for men and the gentle river for women". It is a landscape painting with mountains, gorges, forests, springs and caves. It is the hometown of the Ba people that combines "strangeness, beauty, danger, seclusion and emotion". The average altitude here is 1,000 meters, the highest sea level is 1,650 meters, the lowest altitude is 350 meters, and the average annual temperature is 13.3℃. It is known as a "natural oxygen bar, quiet streams, and charming canyons, and is praised as the "Shangri-La of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River". It is an ideal place for outdoor adventures, summer vacations, health and leisure, and experiencing Ba culture. This was once one of the tribes where the Ba people lived and multiplied, leaving behind many legends and relics of the Ba people; it has also been a settlement area for the Tujia people, descendants of the Ba people, from ancient times to the present. This is a passionate Lehe. Rafting, boating, amphibious vehicles and other water entertainment projects are fun; take a high-altitude zipline to feel the speed and passion in the air; slide on the slippery slide in the jungle, as if returning to childhood; stroll along the canyon plank road, listen to the flying songs and experience the pride and madness of the Tujia people! First, enter the Attraction. Walk 300 meters to visit Qinglang Peak, which is 1,150 meters above sea level. There is a temple on the top of the peak, which is the Guanyin Temple. Qinglang Peak is a solitary peak that is steep and tall, with a knife-like peak and cliffs on three sides, which is very spectacular. When you come to Qinglang Peak, you can see flowers in spring, sea of clouds in summer, red leaves in autumn, snow in winter, sunset and golden glow in the morning. No matter which season you come here, you will see different scenery. Looking at Qinglang Peak from a distance, it rises from the ground and is majestic. Climb to the top of Qinglang Peak, watch the sea of clouds and the sunrise, and feel "the higher the mountain, the higher the peak, and the more you can see the world" The Qinglang Peak is like a fashionable and ever-changing girl, presenting a new feeling to tourists every day, so the Qinglang Peak Attraction has also attracted many photography enthusiasts, who stay in the Attraction for more than a month, and use their lenses to capture the various beauties of the Qinglang Peak. Due to the dangerous terrain of Qinglang Peak, the Wingsuit Flying World Cup was held here in June 2016, and world wingsuit flying athletes from 7 countries competed in speed and passion over the Baren River. After the Lang Peak, walk for about half an hour to the "Liuliu Slide". The slide here has three "degrees". The first is the length. The slide is 450 meters long, which can save 820 steps. The second is the slope. The slope is 26 degrees, with a standardized design, safe and exciting. The third is the curvature, whistling down the mountain, very smooth. The safe, comfortable, exciting and entertaining slide will make you join involuntarily, achieving the purpose of tourism and entertainment, physical and mental relaxation, and allowing you to find the fun of childhood. After experiencing the Liuliu Slide, walk about 25 minutes Zhongzhi "high-altitude zip line", the characteristic of zip line is excitement, it is really very exciting. There are two zip lines here, with a total length of 550 meters and a drop of 78 meters. Both the length and drop are rare in the world. Riding a high-altitude zip line is like flying in the air, flying above the canyon, between the green mountains and green waters, you can enjoy the charming scenery of the Ba River and release your inner enthusiasm and passion! The screams of tourists gliding in the air resounded through the valley. High-altitude slide Take the high-altitude zip line to the bottom of the valley, and walk along the canyon plank road for about half an hour to the "Longyin Palace". Longyin Palace has three floors, upper, middle and lower. There are three halls in the cave: the Dragon Reception Hall, the Yaochi, and the Dragon Palace Hall. There is also a dark river, and you can faintly hear the sound of underground water. The "Longyin Palace" with blurred lights, stalactites, stalagmites, and stone pillars in the cave are in various shapes. Under the projection of colorful lights, it is like a magical and magical crystal palace. This is a magical creation of nature, and is called "the most ornamental cave in the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River" by tourists. The tour time is about 20 minutes. The Qianqi Cave of Longyin Palace was built over a thousand years, and no one can match it in a hundred years. There is a stone evidence that the Dragon King gave rain, and his reputation will be passed down through the ages. After visiting the cave by kayak, walk 10 minutes to the transfer center of Suoxin Tower. The sun shines through the dense forest, reflecting the shimmering water surface of "Suoxin Lake" in a mottled manner. The scenery is beautiful, depicting the impression of the landscape of Ba Renhe River, adding color to the natural beauty of "Shangri-La" in the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. Rowing in Pinghu and playing "passionate rafting" in the canyon. After the eighteen bends of the mountain road, take a battery car or rubber boat to drift to the parking lot of Dongnanxia at Suoxin Tower, transfer to the Attraction Bus for 25 minutes, and return to the upper tourist center of Ba Renhe River after the eighteen bends of the mountain road. Wu Gorge is located between Wushan County, Chongqing and Badong County, Hubei Province. It starts from the Daning River mouth of Wushan in the west and ends at Guandukou in the east. It stretches for 45 kilometers. It is commonly known as the Daxia. "Famous. Wu Gorge is a relatively coherent and tidy canyon in the Three Gorges. It is divided into two sections: the western section is composed of Jinkui Yinjia Gorge and Jianchuan Gorge, and the eastern section is composed of Iron Coffin Gorge and Menfan Gorge. The whole canyon is abrupt with strange peaks and jagged rocks, like a tortuous gallery. The famous twelve peaks of Wushan are located on both sides, six in the north and south. The twelve peaks are beautiful and picturesque, and they are the essence of Wu Gorge. Among the twelve peaks, the Goddess Peak is especially famous. The beautiful stone pillar on the peak is like a slim girl. She welcomes the sunrise every day, and sends the sunset away in the evening, so it is also called "Wangxia Peak". However, if you visit Wu Gorge by boat, you can only see nine of them. The three in the south of the Yangtze River (Rising Peak, Qiyun Peak, and Jingtan Peak) have to abandon the boat and go ashore, and can only be seen near Qingshi Town. The Wu Canyon is deep and narrow, with short sunshine hours. The water vapor in the canyon does not dissipate, and it is easy to form clouds. The clouds and mists are in a variety of shapes, like swimming dragons, jade belts, waterfalls, and veils. Under the sunlight, they are very graceful and form the famous Wuxia Buddha Light. Yuan Zhen, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, left behind the eternal sing of "Once the sea was difficult to become water, except Wushan is not a cloud", which is a wonderful description of Wushan's clouds and mists. There are many scenic spots and historic sites in Wu Gorge. In addition to the well-known twelve peaks of Wushan Mountain, there are also Luyou Ancient Cave, Dayu's Teaching Platform, Goddess Temple Site, Kongming Stone Stele, etc., all of which attract tourists from all over the world with their profound historical heritage. A more suitable way to visit Wu Gorge is to take a boat downstream from the Yangtze River Ferry Terminal in Wushan County, and watch the magnificent twelve peaks of Wushan Mountain and the misty clouds and rain of Wushan Mountain all the way.Wushan County · 21.2km from Badong

The food was affordable and delicious, the rest area was spacious and warm, and parking was convenient and free. There were no hidden costs, making it excellent value for money. A full day of skiing was incredibly enjoyable, suitable for families and groups of friends. Highly recommended, I'll definitely come back again!

This attraction is worth visiting, although it is the 51 holiday, it is a very niche attraction, not many people, and the scenery is beautiful. An 80-year-old man can also go with you throughout the journey, the journey takes 2 to 3 hours, there is an artificial boat in the cave for 48 yuan/person, there are pavilions and benches every 500 meters in the scenic area, and it is a good place to breathe oxygen during the holiday.

Mountains, forests, blue sky, white clouds, and sea of flowers are so beautiful that you can't take it all in. It's cool and worth a visit! There are also some recreational projects, and it's nice to go through the jungle 👍

Enshi 3 Suobuya Stone Forest Scenic Area 13 It is recommended to book tickets online for Sobuya Stone Forest. There are 4 major scenic spots in Sobuya Stone Forest, and you need to take a scenic bus. The four major scenic spots have different focuses, but after walking through 3 of them, I was somewhat aesthetically fatigued, so I didn't go to Qinglong Temple in the four major scenic spots and returned directly. Generally speaking, the landform of the stone forest is very special. Although the stone forests in Wulong and Yunnan are all called karst landforms, there are still differences. It is said that Sobuya Stone Forest was formed in the Ordovician period 460 million years ago, and snail fossils can still be found on some stones.
