Iguazu Falls is located on the Iguazu River at the border between Argentina and Brazil. The word "Iguazu" comes from the language of the Guarani, an indigenous people of South America, and means "huge water." The falls consist of hundreds of waterfalls of varying sizes, cascading down a nearly 3,000 m wide arc-shaped cliff, creating a magnificent sight. In 1984, Iguazu National Park was inscribed on the UNESCO World Natural Heritage List. The falls' iconic view is the "Devil's Throat"—a U-shaped chasm where nearly half of the river's water converges, plunging from a height of over 80 m with a roar like muffled thunder, sending mist dozens of meters into the air, and on clear days rainbows often hang above the curtain of mist. The formation of the falls is closely related to ancient basalt geology; basalt layers formed by volcanic eruptions approx. 100 million years ago were carved and eroded by the Iguazu River over the long ages, creating the layered scenery. In the 1540s, Spanish explorer Cabeza de Vaca crossed the rainforest and recorded the falls, introducing them to Europe. The falls are distributed on both sides of the gorge, with Argentina and Brazil each occupying one side, offering distinct viewing experiences. The Argentine side has two routes, upper and lower: the upper route looks down from above at the tumbling, cascading falls, while the lower route winds through dense forest, allowing visitors to experience each section of the falls up close, with a new view at every step; the Brazilian side is ideal for panoramic views, where the main falls on the Argentine side can be seen as a whole, and the park is also home to many wild animals. Visitors can also take speedboats into the mist below the falls to feel the thrill of the water up close. The falls are located in a subtropical region with abundant water year-round, and the water views are even better during the rainy season.

Teatro Colón is located next to the wide Av. 9 de Julio and is an eclectic-style opera house, with architecture that blends Italian and French elements. The theater opened in 1908, with Verdi's opera "Aida" as its inaugural performance, and has since hosted numerous singers and conductors. Acoustics expert Leo Beranek once surveyed international opera and orchestra conductors, and the results showed that its main auditorium's opera acoustics rank among the best in the world. The horseshoe-shaped main auditorium features a color palette of scarlet and gold, with a bronze chandelier weighing over a ton hanging in the center, and the dome is painted with a mural created by Argentine painter Raúl Soldi. The Golden Hall was inspired by the grand foyer of the Palais Garnier, with its golden finishes, mirrors, and lighting fixtures reflecting each other. It is now used for chamber music concerts and receptions. The stained-glass dome refracts brilliant colors when light shines through it. The theater also houses costume rooms, scenery workshops, and rehearsal spaces underground, allowing the entire production system to be completed in-house, which is rare among opera houses. After a major renovation in 2010, the theater restored its former glory.

La Boca is an old neighborhood by the port of Buenos Aires. In the late 19th century, large numbers of Italian and Spanish immigrants settled here, making a living from port labor and shipbuilding. They used leftover ship paint to paint their tin shacks, unintentionally creating the colorful streetscape seen today. The heart of the neighborhood is a pedestrian street called Caminito, which has been turned into an open-air museum. The highly saturated, colorful houses on both sides are stacked on top of each other, and the walls are covered with murals and reliefs by local artists. Tango dancers often perform impromptu shows on the street. This place is considered one of the important birthplaces of tango, and the name Caminito itself is taken from a tango song of the same name. The neighborhood also carries a strong football culture. The home stadium ofArgentine football club Boca Juniors, Estadio Alberto J Armando, is nearby, where Maradona once played in the blue and gold jersey. Its location has a special historical background—the Church of St. Nicholas once stood here. There is a window on each of the four sides at the top of the monument, offering a panoramic view of the city. Each of the four sides of the monument is also engraved with inscriptions, each recording important events related to the city's history.

There are also other large glaciers in the park, such as the Upsala Glacier and the Spegazzini Glacier, which flow into Argentino Lake and can only be reached by boat cruise. The massive water curtain plunges into a narrow rift, with mist rising and filling the air. To reach the viewing platform, you need to take the park's sightseeing train through the tropical rainforest, then walk along the steel walkway built over the upper reaches of the Iguazu River. Along the walkway, the river surface is wide and calm, occasionally dotted with flocks of birds and small islands, contrasting with the sudden drop of the waterfall at the end. The viewing platform is suspended above the main waterfall, allowing you to watch the water cascading down and feel the mist hitting your face up close.

Plaza de la Republica

Plaza de la Republica centers on a stark white obelisk. Its simple, geometric lines rise sharply, creating an unmistakable silhouette against the city skyline.
