Tianzhu Mountain is located in Qianshan City in southwest Anhui Province. This scenic area is renowned for its majestic peaks, secluded caves, unique pines, and peculiar rocks, and is designated as a UNESCO Global Geopark. Tianzhu Mountain offers breathtaking beauty, thrilling adventures, and endless fun. You can hike to the summit to admire Tianzhu Peak from afar, traverse the exhilarating Qinglong Ridge, explore ancient passes and fortresses, delve into Mystery Valley, or enjoy a panoramic view of the stunning Liandan Lake. The sea of clouds at Tianzhu Mountain is also a spectacular sight. Travel tips Spring, summer and fall are the best seasons to visit Tianzhu Mountain. The attraction mainly consists of the west and east sections, with three typical routes: the small west loop, the new west route, and the grand loop. The small west loop is relatively easy and suitable for visitors with less than a day. The new west route is a classic itinerary covering the entire west section, requiring a full day. The grand loop allows you to enjoy both sections' scenery but demands good physical condition, so a two-day hike is recommended. The south gate is the main entrance to the attraction. However, after purchasing admission tickets at the visitor center, there is a mountain road leading to the south gate. Visitors can take the scenic bus to the lower station of the cableway. Currently, Tianzhu Mountain has three operating cableways: Muyanghe cableway (cableway 1), Dalongwo cableway (cableway 3), and Longtanhe cableway (cableway 4). Tour guide From the south gate, you can either hike or take the Dalongwo cableway to ascend the mountain. It is recommended to take the cableway up to avoid a less scenic section. After the cableway ride, there are two diverging paths leading to Zongguanzhai or Shenmigu (mystery valley). It's suggested to take Shenmigu, where massive rocks form various caves, then visit Feilaifeng (flying peak) and Tianzhufeng (heavenly pillar peak), before returning via Zongguanzhai for descent. This forms the west gate small loop route. Tianzhu peak stands at an elevation of approx. 1,488 m and cannot be climbed, only admired from a distance. However, it remains shrouded in clouds and mist for approx. half of the year, so spotting it depends on luck. Crossing the "Immortal crossing bridge" leads to the summit of Tianchi peak, which offers one of the best vantage points for viewing Tianzhu peak. On clear days, this spot provides expansive views and serves as an excellent location for watching sunrises, sea of clouds, and sunsets. After viewing Feilai peak and Tianzhu peak, if time permits, you can continue along the new route to admire Penglai peak, visit Baiyue platform, then pass by Writing desk - Immortal cave - Qinglong ridge - Qinglong pavilion - Lotus peak, and reach Liandan lake. If you have good stamina, you can continue descending via Huamei ridge - Yingzhen peak - Dansha pavilion - Tianzhu mountain villa route. If you have two days and are in good physical condition, you may choose to stay overnight at Tianzhu mountain villa and explore Dongguan the next day. The Qinglong ridge is a massive, narrow mountain ridge on Tianzhu mountain, offering an exhilarating walk that leads to the Wanjing platform, a viewing deck surrounded by cliffs on three sides. Standing on the platform amidst swirling clouds and mist feels like soaring through the skies. Nestled on the mountainside, the Liandan lake is another breathtaking attraction of Tianzhu mountain. The view from above is especially stunning, and you can also descend to stroll along its shores. As the saying goes, "the east route is perilous while the west route is scenic." The east route presents greater climbing challenges than the west route, featuring more steps carved directly into bare boulders with often bottomless cliffs on one side, requiring extra caution. It's particularly demanding on physical stamina (the east route sequence: Immortal peach rock - Warbler ridge - Echo platform - Thousand-zhang cliff - Great heaven gate - Magpie bridge - Mysterious valley ladder - East gate). Da Tianmen is a valley between two mountain peaks, featuring a long and steep stone staircase that ascends imposingly towards the sky, making it the most physically demanding section of the Dongguan route. The Queqiao bridge beyond Da Tianmen is even more perilous, with cliffs on one side and a sheer drop on the other. Although guarded by iron railings, extreme caution is required when crossing. The Qigu ladder is renowned for its steepness and narrowness, resembling a "thread of sky" in some sections, where climbers must use both hands and feet to pass through.Qianshan · 16.5km from downtown

Tianzhu Peak, also known as Wanbo Peak, Wanshan Peak, and Chaoyang Peak, is called the birthplace of Siming Zhenjun by Taoists. It is 1,488.4 meters above sea level. On the front cliff in front of Tianzhu Peak, there are eight characters engraved horizontally: "Lonely and holding up the sky, a pillar in the sky". In addition to Feilai Peak and Santai Peak on the left and right, there are also Wuzhi Peak, Lianhua Peak, Tianchi Peak, Hanzhu Peak, Feilai Peak and Yuehua Peak guarding the surroundings, with strange pines, strange rocks, sea of clouds and Buddha's light, each with its own unique style. On the east side of the peak is a huge rock ridge, narrow, steep and dangerous, commonly known as Qinglongbei, also known as Crucian Carp Bei. On the west side of the peak, the dangerous rocks are towering, like a stone dragon with its head raised. The poem "Tianzhu Peak holds up the sun and moon, and the cave gate is thousands of feet high and locks the clouds and thunder" by the Tang Dynasty poet Bai Juyi is a wonderful description of the magnificent scenery of Tianzhu Peak in Tianzhu Mountain. Li Bai's poem "Looking at Wangong Mountain from the River" says: "Strange peaks give rise to strange clouds, and beautiful waters contain beautiful air." Bai Juyi's poem "Inscription on Tianzhu Peak" says: "Tianzhu Peak holds up the sun and moon, and the cave gate is thousands of feet high and locks the clouds and thunder."Qianshan · 17.3km from downtown

The current tourist attraction model is basically that the visitor center is 6-8 kilometers away from the main gate, and you can only buy a shuttle bus ticket, otherwise you'll be exhausted before you even start climbing. The scenery at Tianzhu Mountain is quite good, with natural landscapes and strangely shaped rocks, exceeding expectations. Overall, it's a great place, recommended, less crowded and beautiful. Climbing Tianzhu Mountain is said to bring good fortune; wishing everyone good luck!

Mingtang Mountain Scenic Area is cool and refreshing, perfect for escaping the summer heat. The scenery is beautiful, and the crowds aren't too large. Prices are also very low, with the same price both up and down the mountain. To ascend, you can choose a completely free hiking route, or an easier route combining a shuttle bus, cable car, and magic carpet. For an extra fee, you can descend via a slide, cable car, and glass rafting experience, which is very convenient for seniors.

Environment: No worse than Lushan Waterfall. Perhaps Lushan Waterfall is less impressive because the poet Li Bai visited it. The waterfalls of the Dabie Mountains cascade down, creating a magnificent and refreshing sight, nourishing the soul. We arrived at the waterfall at 9:30 AM and didn't see a rainbow. The entire scenic area was very cool. Since it wasn't a holiday, it wasn't crowded. The boat ride cost 50 yuan; remember to bargain if you're an adult and a child. My personal suggestion: definitely buy tickets online in advance. You can buy a basic package first (rainbow + scenic shuttle + rafting), then buy whatever else you like inside, and you can bargain. There are three types of rafting; the one we tried was the least fun. The river rafting requires you to paddle manually, so make sure you understand the details beforehand. The overall environment of the scenic area is quite nice, but the facilities and services are a bit lacking. Our two-day trip to western Anhui was spent entirely in the mountains, so we didn't get a real sense of nature.

🚩Phase I of the Five Thousand Years Cultural Expo Park: A Dream of a Thousand Years Scenic Area. The park presents historical themes through art forms such as sculptures, root carvings, and architecture. Core attractions include: 🔴The Five Thousand Years Root Carving Culture Park: A collection of nearly 27,000 root carvings, including giant works weighing over 5 tons, made of precious woods such as Phoebe zhennan. The museum's prized possession is a 5-meter-long root carving of "Along the River During the Qingming Festival." 🔵The Chinese Filial Piety Park and the Four Great Classical Novels Culture Park: Recreating Confucian culture and literary classics through reliefs and scenes, such as the "Confucius Traveling Through the States" and "Laozi: The Greatest Master Under Heaven" sculpture group. 🟢The Huangmei Opera Art Street and the Cliffside Waterfall: Combining intangible cultural heritage performances (such as Huangmei Opera) with a natural cultural wall, 21 meters high and 180 meters wide, inscribed with poems by historical figures. 🟣 Qin Shi Huang Terracotta Army and Imperial Sculpture Group: Replicas of the Qin terracotta warriors and an 11-meter-high statue of Qin Shi Huang, recreating the military might of the Qin and Han dynasties. ⛩️ Five Thousand Years of Culture Expo Park Phase I: A Dream of a Thousand Years Scenic Area. The scenic area is quite nice, worth a visit for photography enthusiasts. The ancient-style buildings are very realistic and impressive… Signboard: “I am the best in the world.” 🎉 During the Spring Festival, there are many performances and interactive games. Play games to earn silver tickets, which can then be used for a lucky draw or to exchange for gifts. 🎁 Five Thousand Years of Culture Expo Park Phase II: Ten-Mile Gallery Scenic Area. The scenic area includes four cultural parks: Misty Jiangnan, Along the River During the Qingming Festival, 360 Trades, and Creative Stone World. Phase II is much less crowded than Phase I, mainly for visiting exhibition halls. Without the large-scale Huangmei Opera performance of “The New Fairy Couple” in the evening, the scenic area felt a bit deserted.

Six-Foot Lane in Tongcheng, Anqing, though only 100 meters long and about 2 meters wide, is a spiritual landmark of the Chinese culture of "courtesy and courtesy." During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Grand Secretary Zhang Ying resolved a land dispute between his family and neighbors with the poem, "Why not yield three feet?" Each family yielded three feet, creating a timeless tale. This ordinary ancient lane in Anqing, with its blue bricks, gray tiles, and cobblestone paths, embodies the traditional virtues of humility, tolerance, and valuing harmony. It transcends time and continues to inspire people today: taking a step back opens up a vast expanse; courtesy and courtesy are wisdom in dealing with the world and the foundation of harmony. Today, Six-Foot Lane is not only a cultural and tourist attraction but also a classroom for moral education, silently proclaiming the enduring charm of excellent traditional Chinese culture.

Niucao Mountain is worth visiting. The scenery before sunrise is even more beautiful, and the sea of clouds is so beautiful. We were a group of four and drove up the mountain at 4 o'clock. Unexpectedly, there were already many people on the mountain and there was no place to park the car. Although it was so early, there were several stalls selling food on the mountain! Even the coffee truck drove up the mountain to sell coffee. There were also many camping tents on the mountain. When we went down the mountain after watching the sunrise, we saw the row of windmills for power generation, which formed a beautiful scenery and was eye-catching. I will go to Niucao Mountain again if I have the chance.

From the highest point, Dragon Head Peak, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Magpie Bridge, Jade Pool, and other attractions. The scenery is beautiful, the Magpie Bridge is sturdy, and the heart-shaped glass bridge is perfect for photos. The scenic area offers many thrilling rides, such as bungee jumping, rock climbing, and the Buddha's Hand sculpture. For those with good stamina, climbing the scenic area takes about an hour. Reaching Dragon Head Peak requires a further walk, or you can cross the Magpie Bridge first, as there are many steps, some of which are quite steep.

Very good scenic spot, no one was crowded during the May Day holiday, which is great. Along the way, we visited Xifeng Zen Temple, Xifeng Cave and the Guanhu Pavilion on the top of the mountain. The scenery was really good.
