The Few Positives:
1. Stunning Sea View – The room offered a beautiful view of the ocean.
2. Efficient Airport Shuttle – The shuttle service was punctual and hassle-free.
3. Prime Location – Conveniently within walking distance of the night market.
4. Exceptional Poolside Staff – One staff member went above and beyond, quickly securing my personal belongings when heavy rain suddenly started.
Major Letdowns:
1. Poor Dining Experience – The BBQ buffet was underwhelming, with unappetizing presentation despite the fair price. Not worth it.
2. Disappointing Breakfast – Limited, low-quality options with bland flavors. Service was lacking: no staff guidance for seating, forcing guests to scramble for tables. Empty food trays were left unfilled for extended periods, leaving guests waiting.
3. Cold & Unwelcoming Service – From check-in to room service, the staff lacked warmth — far below the standard expected of a top-tier hotel.
4. Tiny, Uninspiring Pool – The swimming pool was disappointingly small.
5. Hygiene Concerns – The room was uncomfortably humid.
We stayed at La Festa Phu Quoc in a King Deluxe Ocean View Room with an additional bed. While the view from the room was lovely, the space felt a bit tight for three people. The extra bed provided was a folding type with a fairly thin mattress — not the most comfortable for a long stay.
Despite the room size, the overall experience was pleasant. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist, which made a positive difference throughout our stay. Housekeeping was consistent, and the facilities were generally clean and well-maintained.
If you're traveling as a couple, the room would be a better fit. For small families or groups needing an extra bed, it may feel a little cramped. That said, the location is convenient, and the ocean view certainly adds to the charm.
Overall, it was an okay stay — simple, clean, and made better by the warmth of the staff.

We love the amenities and vibe! Definitely a place to rest, relax and rejuvenate. The villa is very spacious and comfortable! The hotel compound is clean and staff are helpful and friendly! But location is not near convenience stores or city center, about a 20min drive.
Drinks at Aura Beach Club are good too
Stayed in Building B, Deluxe Suite Ocean View, 3rd floor. The room was indeed beautiful and comfortable, but starting from 9 or 10 AM, extremely loud music with heavy bass made it impossible to sleep.
We had already paid for the airport transfer when booking. Before checking in, we communicated via messages that we would be changing hotels after checkout and not leaving Phu Quoc. (I thought we could take the shuttle to the airport and then head to our next hotel ourselves.) However, they insisted that I provide a flight number to arrange the shuttle. Later, they told me to arrange the timing with the front desk upon check-in.
When I checked in, I asked the front desk if we could be dropped off at our next hotel instead of the airport since it was along the way. They said OK, and there was no need to arrange the time in advance—we could confirm it on the checkout day. However, it turned out they were referring to the free VinBus, not the hotel's paid shuttle service that I had already paid for. The front desk staff at check-in completely misled us, and as a result, we were unable to use the hotel shuttle.
We noticed that the door lock kept beeping, and our keycard couldn’t open the door. We asked a hotel staff member to report the issue, assuming it would be fixed by the time we returned. However, when we got back at night, the problem was still there. I had to walk to the front desk again, and it seemed like no one had addressed our request, meaning it had been completely ignored. Finally, they helped us enter the room and told us the door lock battery was low and could only be fixed the next day.
We ordered room service for a late-night snack, but by early morning, I had diarrhea, and my girlfriend was vomiting. I was left completely drained and unable to continue our itinerary. When we reported this suspected food poisoning incident at checkout, the front desk simply said, ”Okay, we will pass on the message,” and that was it. No apology, no compensation.
Only the exterior looks five-star, but everything else fails miserably.
We stayed at the Venice Hotel for 4 nights from 8 to 12 Jan 2025. The hotel is very centrally located and very close to many activities and food. The hotel offers free buggy service to anywhere within Sunset Town and even a free 30 mins Sunset Town tour, cable car ride to Hon Thom island and Aquatopia Water Park!
As we had an ocean view room, we were able to watch extreme sea sports and Symphony of the Sea performances as well as fireworks from our balcony every night! It was so awesome!!
The staff at Venice Hotel were very polite and helpful. We want to thank Hannah and Scarlett especially for going out of their way to help us with many of our queries and requests. We were also surprised to see the general manager, Ms Marissa, sitting at the reception area, quietly doing her work and observing and rendering help when the need arose.
We would highly recommend the Venice Hotel. But for those who are early sleepers and prefer quieter lodging, this place may not be for you as there are two pubs just across the hotel and you can hear the music till the wee morning of 2am-3am. We worked around this issue by wearing ear plugs!
location is good, few mins walk to the beach, and few mins walk to the Grand World Nightly Light show place, where many shops and restaurants are there.
There is free bus ride, Vinbus from airport to the hotel and also stops at the city centre. You can save some Grab money there.
Facilities, Standard swimming pool and there are some staff oeganizing water polo games for hotel guests to join. they are fantastic. The slide is right there, but didnt open during my stay, a bit disappointed
the things i dont like was that too many people smoked around the pool, which i felt very uncomfortable.
The breakfast was fine, but there were so many people and staff were not able to keep the place clean. Please hire more staff.
To conclude, the stay was fine, and it is value for money.

The hotel is decent overall. The grounds are clean, green, and compact. The bungalow is tidy and has enough space for two people. However, the hotel itself is not new, and the furniture shows signs of wear. The weakest aspect of the hotel is the breakfast. There are not many options, but it’s sufficient for a 3-4 day stay. Unfortunately, the food is low-quality and not very appealing. We preferred to eat outside, where there are several other places that offer better breakfasts. Overall, I would rate the hotel as a strong 3+. It’s a suitable place for an overnight stay, but not much more than that.
We had a very pleasant stay at Vinpearl Resort. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient.
Our hotel room was spacious and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The pool and beach areas were large and well-maintained. A small but thoughtful gesture was that the resort provided three balls for us to play with in the swimming pool—this was a big hit with the kids!
The kids’ playroom offered some engaging activities that kept our little ones entertained.
Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. While we didn’t get their names, we noticed that some staff members were especially attentive and welcoming, which added to the experience.
Out of the three hotels we stayed at during our trip, Vinpearl definitely gave us the best staycation vibe, with the pool, beach, and theme park all conveniently nearby.
The free shuttle bus service was very helpful, although it’s worth noting that the bus tends to leave exactly on schedule (sometimes even within a minute), so it’s easy to miss it and end up needing to book a Grab instead.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back again!
Thanks to the front desk customer service of the apartment. They proactively contacted us in advance to assist us with arriving at the check-in location, storing our luggage, and recommending travel benefits and tickets (which I had purchased before departure). She was still friendly and received positive reviews. The apartment terrace is very spacious, with a sea view terrace and a beautiful view of the sea and fireworks. The sunset is amazing! The room was very clean and comfortable. Our room for four people had two bathrooms and toilets, which were very convenient to use. The shower head was adjustable for a larger water output and was very useful (there was a message saying the shower head had very fine water).
We stayed in the end room, which was very quiet and comfortable.

The room is clean and tidy, but i dont like the glass wall of the bathroom. If the TV has the built in Netflix, that would be fantastic
Facilities
Gym room is small, with limited equipment. But i guess it is fine, as not many people were there during my stay
swimming pool and beach
There are two and both are good. there are always some staff cleaning the pool, so i am not worried about the water quality. Beach is right next to the hotel and water activities are there for you to choose
breakfast is good, with lots of choices. we were asked to have breakfast in the function room as they said the restaurant was full. i could imagine the hotel was fully booked that weekend
Hotel provides airport pickup and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The price is higher than other local brands, and you can see the difference from the service quality.
One more thing, the night market is just opposite to the hotel and this one is clean and tidy.
Definitely i will stay in this hotel again

LLuiza/South KoreaI had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The property is impeccably clean, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Its location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, making it incredibly convenient for some seaside fun.
The highlight for me was the large pool, which was perfect for relaxing and spending quality time with my family. Another fantastic feature is the free Kids Café – a wonderful space where kids can enjoy themselves, adding an extra touch of thoughtfulness for families.
The staff were incredibly positive and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. To top it all off, the price was very affordable, offering great value for the amenities provided. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a family-friendly and budget-friendly stay near the beach!

GGuest UserAll of got to say is that the staff is very attentive to details especially the request made. The villa is super well kept. The breakfast spread was good better than most accommodation that we have stayed at. Everybody should try living here at least once.
GGuest UserThe resort has alot of potential with an exclusive beach, swimming pool and eloquent rooms (some with great views). Breakfasts are great. The manager was good and takes pride in the resort, however when he was not around in the afternoons and evenings service was rare and hard to find. You have to actively go look for restaurant staff to place an order or pay. The restaurant could be alot more profitable if staff actively removed plates and asked clients if they could get them anything e.g dessert, drinks. They charge a service fee, but with little service.
It advertises a gym, but equipment is in disrepair, they should not advertise facilities which are not functional.
There is not much around the resort in terms of restaurants, bars and shops. It is also not an easy location to get to, but yet we found the reception unhelpful in getting transport.
All in all the resort could be great, but service needs to be improved.

SShuk ling janineGorgeous Hotel and Service was totally excellent. Spotlessly clean. The people at the front desk were very informative and even helped me arrange the best table for my birthday dinner. Unfortunately I got food poisoning (not from the hotel) and they were nice enough to give me a late checkout until my evening flight. will definitely come again! Thank you!
JJune Yoon YiI visited here for the second time. Although the transportation is uncomfortable, I wanted to relax in a spacious villa in a quiet area. In particular, the staff were friendly, and they seem to be carefully selected, educated, and treated. In particular, the desk staff was friendly, and it was easy to communicate in English. (Many of the five-star hotels in Phu Quoc have difficulty in communicating with desk staff in English) This is not a fancy and noisy place. Rather, it is a place of quiet peace that is practical and classy. Everything is going accordingly. There are not many types of dishes at breakfast, but the quality is good. Both of the spa and restaurant service are cost-effective. The beach and pool are small but practical, cozy, elagant, and well managed. The resort buildings and interiors are also small and old, but I could feel the soul of the architect.
GGuest UserDuring our recent 2 nights stay at the Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort, we booked both a 4-bedroom Garden View Villa and a Twin Balcony Ocean View room.
The villa itself was impressively spacious and boasted a lovely ambience, although we did notice signs of its age. In particular, the curtain in the upstairs bedroom had come loose, and the balcony gate could not be opened. That said, we still found the accommodation generally comfortable and enjoyable.
We were quite impressed by the buffet breakfast, as it offered an abundance of dishes and the food quality was excellent. However, the receptionist at the restaurant appeared inadequately trained. On one morning, instead of checking whether any tables were available on the first floor, she directed us upstairs to the second floor. When we insisted on remaining on the first floor, we were obliged to wait for roughly 10 minutes despite the presence of numerous empty tables. This lapse in organisation was disappointing and suggested that the restaurant’s management could benefit from additional oversight or coaching.
On our final day, we requested a one-hour late check-out, and the receptionist (lady) was both gracious and efficient in accommodating this request. Regrettably, we encountered a problem when our room key stopped working at 12:45pm. Upon returning to reception to resolve the issue, another staff member — identified as a guy “Thuan” who addressed us in a noticeably impolite manner. His abrupt comments relating to the number of key cards provided were unexpected and created an unnecessarily tense situation. Such conduct seemed incongruous with the typically high standards one would expect at a five-star resort. Additionally, we attempted to ring the “Guest Service” line to request a buggy from our villa, only to find that no one answered. This was a minor inconvenience, though it did add to the sense that some elements of the hotel’s service could be improved.
Nevertheless, in general, the Sheraton made a favourable impression, and the facilities remained otherwise pleasant. With a focus on further training for the staff — particularly those at the restaurant and the front desk. It has the potential to provide a consistently excellent hospitality experience.
CCaroline RoseBeautiful resort. Lovely staff and facilities, location on the beach is perfect. The room was wonderful!! Spa is great. Pool is lovely. Although kids splashing around the pool bar and jumping from the upper pool to the lower pool is annoying. Breakfast was great, the food for lunch and dinner could be improved slightly with more local dishes. The entertainment in the evening was nice for one night but it was the same man playing the same songs on the guitar every night. Maybe a local dance group or traditional music would be a good idea.
