đ **Beach Highlights**
1. **Fine, Clean Sand & Enhanced Privacy:** The hotel boasts a private beach situated on the southern stretch of Khem Beach, widely considered Phu Quoc's most beautiful. The sand is incredibly fine, powdery white, and wonderfully soft underfoot. It's meticulously cleaned every morning by staff (though occasional sea debris might wash ashore). Compared to the bustling northern beaches, this spot offers a much quieter and more private experience.
2. **Calm Waves & Family-Friendly:** The bay's southeastern side forms a natural barrier, keeping the waves gentle and making it perfect for kids to splash around and for beginner swimmers. Numerous family guests have commented that 'children can safely play in the shallow water without worrying about strong waves.' While sharing the same stretch of sand with the adjacent JW Marriott, the Emerald Bay section feels distinctly more peaceful and secluded.
3. **Abundant Complimentary Water Activities:** The hotel provides a variety of non-motorized water sports equipment like banana boats, kayaks, and paddleboards, all free for guests to use (on-site registration required). For families, there are also plenty of sand toys for children, giving parents a break. A notable highlight for some guests was 'paddling in a transparent kayak to see the little fish underwater â such a great value experience!'
4. **Stunning Sunrise & Sunset Views:** The resort offers breathtaking sunrise and sunset views. East-facing rooms provide spectacular ocean sunrises, as golden morning light bathes the emerald waters. For unforgettable sunsets, we highly recommend heading to the west side of the beach in the evening to witness the 'golden hour' â it's an incredibly photogenic scene.
đš **Hotel Facilities & Services Integrated with the Beach**
* **Seamless Pool-to-Beach Access:** The hotel's multiple tiered swimming pools, including a fun slide area for kids, are seamlessly integrated with the beach, just steps away. This allows guests to effortlessly alternate between a refreshing dip in the pool and a swim in the ocean.
* **Beach Bar & Convenient Services:** The pool bar offers signature cocktails, conveniently delivered right to your beach lounge chair. Additionally, complimentary towels and sunscreen are readily available.
* **Complimentary Local Attraction Tickets:** As a special bonus, summer stay packages often include complimentary tickets to the âKiss of the Seaâ sunset light show, located just a 10-minute drive from the hotel. This spectacular performance, featuring water screens, fireworks, and artistic installations, provides a magical conclusion to your beach day.
The beach, swimming pool, breakfast, and chocolate service at lunch were all very good! The staff were helpful and responsive through their app, although their English skills were limited, which sometimes caused delays in getting the correct service.
We initially had an issue with our room choice, but the staff responded quickly and resolved it. The spa place is very spacious with sauna rooms and Jacuzzi.
The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious dishes ranging from Eastern to Western options. One bad thing is we found a couple of dead cockroaches in the new room, but the cleaning staff came promptly to take care of them upon request. Overall, it was a good place to stay.
It is a quite lovely experience during my stay. The app of Mövenpick is very user friendly for any information or boardcast, like cruise. The message replied so efficient. Chocolate hour is so sweet activity at 3:30-4:30pm everyday. It would be perfect if providing water or drink during the chocolate hour. The resort provides lots of activities everyday which can join freely. It is pity that the swimming pool is maintenance until 2 Oct. The elements of Spa is a relaxed and quiet environment with jacuzzi and sauna. The room service is good taste and wait around 30 minutes. If you choose Vila to stay, the hotel provide the free buggy to pick up or drop off in the area of hotel. After check out, we can stay at MLounge for the rest and wait for the free shuttle bus to the airport at the appointed time. In my conclusion, my family and I enjoyed the 3 days in the Mövenpick Villa.
We truly enjoyed our stay at Wyndham Garden Grandworld Phu Quoc. The location is excellentâjust a short walk to nearby shops, with a 24-hour market right behind the hotel serving excellent fresh coconut. The hotel is close to Vinpearl Safari, VinWonders, and Grand World, and offers a free shuttle to these attractions as well as to a private beach club.
There are plenty of facilities for young children, including a swimming pool with water slides, a cinema, and a kidsâ club (note: the water slide is only operational from 3 pm to 5 pm). The breakfast buffet offers a huge selection, though it can get very busy and crowded. Our room was a nice size, with a balcony equipped with chairs and a tableâperfect for enjoying the view of Grand World.
Overall, it was a great experience, and we would gladly stay here again.
What a wonderful vacation at Phu Quoc, especially at La Festa! We visited the island for a short four-day getaway during summer break for the first time. I didnât expect La Festa to surprise us so much with its exceptional hospitality. The front desk receptionists were all super friendly and helpful, and they spoke fluent English, so there was no communication gap.
The hotel is located in the center of Sunset Town, just a five-minute walk from the cable car station and most nearby attractions. It also provides free tickets to the Kiss Bridge and the âKiss of the Seaâ show, making it easy for guests to enjoy these experiences. Additionally, the hotel is surrounded by many great bistros.
We stayed in a connecting room, with one king bed and one twin bed. The rooms were spacious and included all the amenities we needed. The interior design was modern and chic, making it a perfect spot to escape the busyness of work and life.
I was pleasantly surprised when the hotel remembered my birthday on our second-to-last day and sent me a delicious yuzi cake. Thank you so much for the lovely surprise!
Even though I just returned home two days ago, I am already planning my next trip to Phu Quoc and staying at La Festa again.

Stayed at Pullman for 2 nights, booking two different room types. As there were very few Chinese guests and mostly Koreans during our visit, I'd like to share my personal experience.
1: The overall hotel service was excellent. Staff were always ready to assist with requests and greeted guests with smiles.
2: The breakfast deserves a special mention. Everyone in our group found it tastier than JW's, and while the variety wasn't as extensive, the flavors were definitely superior. It would have been great to have freshly cut mango every day â it was available on the first day but not the second. Similarly, pho was beef on the first day and chicken on the second; a bit more variety in the main dishes would be a welcome improvement.
3: Our high-floor sea view room had a noticeable musty smell upon entry, and the bed felt quite damp. Our entire family had to sleep in long-sleeved shirts and long pants, which made for an average night's sleep. Oddly, our other room, a ground-floor pool access room, had no smell and the bed wasn't damp at all. I really can't understand the difference.
4: Staff at the pool offered free inflation of swimming rings, and the environment was pleasant.
5: The beach environment was mediocre. There isn't much sandy beach left, and the waves were quite strong, making it unsuitable for children to play in the sea. It's more for looking at than playing in.
6: The gym was decent â a good option for a workout if it rains. The spa was just okay, not as good as traditional Thai massage. The kids' club, however, was excellent! It offered free drawing activities, cartoons, and even had its own private restroom.
The location was further up in the north but the facilities is well maintained and abundance in space. This is what a resort should be like! Windy, spacious. Though, there could have been more beach/hotel activities. The complimentary airport pick up and safari tickets was a nice touch! We enjoyed the free shuttle around grand world, safari and Vinwonders.
Overall, our stay was enjoyable.
The villa was spacious and perfect for a family trip â clean and set in a beautiful environment.
However, there are a few things to note:
If youâre afraid of bugs, this may not be the best choice. We encountered quite a few bugs inside the villa, and I even stepped on millipedes twice during our 4-night stay. Unfortunately, while housekeeping tidied the room and changed towels, they didnât clean the blood stains left behind.
The water pressure was quite weak throughout the stay.
Breakfast was great, with a good variety. But I did notice some hygiene issues â for example, a few guests picked bread with their hands instead of using the tongs provided, and there was no staff around to remind or guide them.
Front desk service needs improvement.
When we bought cable car tickets through the hotel, they had to take photos for the entrance process. However, the staff member didnât give any signal or communication when the photo was taken, which caused confusion.
During checkout, it was raining. We had one suitcase, one hand-carry bag, and a plastic shopping bag. The staff placed our hand-carry bag directly on the wet ground, making the bottom dirty, while they put the plastic shopping bag on top of the suitcase â this seemed careless.
They also asked what our plans were after checkout (our flight was at night), and we mentioned we might try the hotel spa. But instead of assisting, the staff just told us we had already paid and could go pay directly at the spa. They didnât give us any further information â no directions, opening hours, or what services were available. It gave us the impression that once youâve checked out, theyâre no longer interested in helping.
Tips for future guests:
âą Bring extra swimsuits if you plan to swim multiple days. Thereâs no dryer or drying rack unless you pay for laundry, and sudden rain is common.
âą The hotel offers some activities like kayaking and yoga, but these are often fully booked, so try to reserve early.

1. **Location**: Located in the central part of Phu Quoc Island, it's approximately 10 kilometers from the airport. We arranged a 7-seater airport transfer through the hotel for 300,000 VND, which is about 80+ RMB. It's also about 20-30 kilometers away from Duong Dong town, the northern amusement parks, and the southern Sunset Town.
2. **Hotel Facilities**: Overall, it meets the standards of an entry-level five-star hotel. The rooms are clean, and all facilities and amenities are well-appointed. The swimming pool is also very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The king-size rooms feature a 2-meter king bed and a sofa.
3. **Beach**: We visited at the end of August, during the rainy season, and were affected by a typhoon. It rained every day, with a mix of sunny and rainy spells. The waves in the sea were quite strong, making it unsuitable for swimming. The sand on Long Beach is yellowish, similar to Yalong Bay in Sanya, but it's still quite fine and considered clean.
4. **Hotel Surroundings**: Right opposite the hotel entrance is the Sonasea Night Market, offering numerous dining and shopping options. We highly recommend Sen Vietnam Restaurant, a Vietnamese eatery where both the pho and spring rolls are delicious. A meal for six people cost about 1,000,000 VND, which is approximately 300 RMB. There's also a Korean seafood restaurant called Mr. Seafood, which offers great taste and excellent value for money. For 3,720,000 VND (equivalent to 1,100 RMB), we had: two lobsters (total 1KG, one with garlic butter sauce, one cheese-baked), 1KG large tiger prawns (half stir-fried with garlic butter, half grilled with garlic butter), 1KG crab with Singapore sauce, 1KG stir-fried squid, and 1KG cheese-baked scallops. They also included two portions of fried rice, two vegetable dishes, two boxes of fruit, and two 1-liter cans of beer. This price was only half of what we'd pay in the south, so much so that after we moved to the southern part of the island, we took a taxi back just to eat there again!
5. **Transportation**: You can use Grab for taxis, or hail a taxi directly at the hotel entrance, where prices are clearly displayed. We hired a 7-seater car for most of the day for 900,000 VND, which is about 250 RMB. A one-way trip to the south cost around 200,000 VND.
We choose the 2 bed rooms suite with large beds and balcony one of the room facing ocean with beautiful sunset. the view is super. The booking include 4 tickets of body massage and itâs per night ! The only recommendation iplease bring your body lotion as this is not supply by hotel .. other than that no complaint at all and for sure we will pick the same hotel of our next travel to Phu Quoc!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a great area: between Grand World and Vinpearl Wonderworld. The hotel is a bit old, so you can feel some humidity smell in certain areas, like the corridors, but in general, itâs quite clean and nice. The breakfast is great! There are a lot of options to choose from. We couldnât enjoy the beach since we visited during the monsoon season, but it looked well taken care of. The hotel also offers free shuttle buses from and to the airport and other sightseeing places, such as Grand World

AAnonymous UserWe were truly touched by how family-friendly this resort is!
Our villa was ideal for traveling with kids â besides the pool that the little ones absolutely loved, it was also equipped with a water dispenser, washing machine, and dishwasher â such helpful features for moms đ„°
Every staff member we met was kind and took wonderful care of us.
Since we had an early morning flight, the hotel thoughtfully prepared a variety of breakfast items for us to enjoy at the airport â such a considerate touch!
The hotel app was super efficient and convenient â booking activities, arranging transportation, and ordering food was all quick and easy.
Big thanks to Thien, the friendly poolside staff who looked after us so well for two days!
Our kids had so much fun every day â playing chess, pickleball, frisbee, archery, and of course, lots of swimming!
The fire dance show at the beachfront restaurant was also a highlight â entertaining and memorable.
Weâre already looking forward to coming back again đ
CCheungBennyBeautiful surroundings and a stunning beach. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, there's a swimming pool, and numerous restaurants and spas are located nearby. It's a perfect spot for family vacations. The staff were very friendly. My daughter lost her phone on the beach, but the beach staff found it and handed it to the hotel's front desk. We were so relieved to get it back!
CCurious Ape1. Missing amenity: NOT all rooms have washing machine inside, even though it is clearly stated that this is included in the room amenities. The host/reception staff did NOT specify this information before OR after check in. Even if the machine is there, the host/reception staff does not provide any token amount of laundry detergent. So remember to âBring your own detergentâ
2. Vague communications: Questions emailed to the host via Trip.com are not always answered by the host (ie either no response at all or very late reply). Trip.com was helpful in advising me to email directly to the host (**************************) when the host failed to respond to some of my emails. However, it seems like the host does not check itâs own email box so I never get any response from that mailbox
3. Tedious check in process: There isnât any clear information about the exact location of their office. Check in information is given ONLY via Chatting apps (eg Zalo, Kakao, Line or Whatsapp) at exactly the check in time, 2 pm (rooms are highly unlikely to be ready before that). I went directly to their physical office for assistance. Their office (with blue signage âRosieâ) is shabby and dubious-looking and totally incongruous with the given âLuxury Hillside Apartmentâ name). You MUST have mobile data roaming at that point to receive the room access code. The security guards based at each buildingâs beautiful reception floor have nothing to do with the rooms managed by this tiny âRosieâ office
4. Minimal staff: Cleaning staff hired by this Rosie agency seems unable to cope with the large number of room cleaning prior to guestsâ check in. In the end, I think the limited manpower could only manage very basic, superficial cleaning of rooms. Ants seem to have built a colony in hidden crevices in some of the units as thereâre always some crawling around the kitchenette/clothes-hanging cabinet every now and then
5. Itâs a 50/50 chance of whether you are assigned a fairly new and really nice apartment or a worn-out one with some broken down/missing fixtures. You just have to risk it, in return for a stunning view of the fireworks (in rooms facing the Kiss Bridge)
6. The agency staff are okay and they do try to help. Unfortunately, I find them somewhat inexperienced and their services and expertise are a mismatch for this fine category of apartments. The Rosie agency staff have a tendency to give routine, generic answers when dealing with feedback and complaints. They probably can do well in operating guest houses or backpackersâ lodge where expectations from guests are much lower

AA Fish Called WandererExceptional from the moment we arrived, the experience was flawless. The staff were incredibly attentiveânothing was ever too much trouble. Every detail had been carefully thought out, from the beautifully appointed room that had everything we could possibly need, to the thoughtful messages from Madame Vermont that added such a personal touch.
Little extras, like the charming pepper gift, made us feel truly valued. The hotel itself is stunning, with its elegant French colonial style, and the environment was wonderfully peaceful. The private beach, immaculate pool area, and lush gardens created a perfectly relaxing escape.
Dining at Pepper Restaurant was a highlightâthe food was absolutely fantastic and beautifully presented. This trip exceeded all expectations. We canât wait to return!
JJune Yoon YiI visited here for the second time. Although the transportation is uncomfortable, I wanted to relax in a spacious villa in a quiet area. In particular, the staff were friendly, and they seem to be carefully selected, educated, and treated. In particular, the desk staff was friendly, and it was easy to communicate in English. (Many of the five-star hotels in Phu Quoc have difficulty in communicating with desk staff in English) This is not a fancy and noisy place. Rather, it is a place of quiet peace that is practical and classy. Everything is going accordingly. There are not many types of dishes at breakfast, but the quality is good. Both of the spa and restaurant service are cost-effective. The beach and pool are small but practical, cozy, elagant, and well managed. The resort buildings and interiors are also small and old, but I could feel the soul of the architect.
