Holiday Inn Greensboro Coliseum

It is not recommended that you visit Greensboro. There is nothing in the broken place ... and this place is a place for black people. Usually, 9 black people and 1 white people are basically 10 people. Shootings occur every day. This hotel is also small and old, just like home. . Anyway, American hotel chains are like this. .

The location is very good, walking distance from the Meadowmont to go, one side is the fast road on the side of the woods, there is a special walking/riding lane, followed by navigation and culvert crossing the road to a pond and lawn hillside, behind which is the office building to go. There are trails to the business center of Meadowmont, which is convenient for Harris Teeter supermarket, Quickley tea shop, pizza shop, etc. The room and service are normal.

I was very disappointed with the service I recieve. The first night I could not close the shade so I stayed up most of the night because there were cars and a lamp pole shinning directly in my window. I was lied to by the receptionist on duty that the maintenance man would fix the problem the next morning.. Again I had to endure the lights shinning in my room. I was told that they would move me. I was told by staff that the other rooms had broken shades also. I suppose to have a handicapped accessible room. Their virgin of a handicapped room was a shower with a overhead water and a small bench on the floor for a smallshort person. The maid did all she could to help by covering the window with trash bags and paste board boxes which worked amazingly well. I gave her a nice tip for helping me. I had to go to Walmart to purchase a shower chair so I could take a shower. They refuse to refund my money so I couldn't go any where else. I should not had to endure 2 days of little sleep and no shower cause it could be fix with a chair under 50 dollars. No hotel should be allowed to advertise handicapped accessible if they don't meet the minimum standards of what accessible means. The hotel is very convenient to my family and friends. The food was good and the receptionist on the day we left did apologize for the inconvenient.
Cambria Hotel Raleigh-Durham Airport

I had stayed at the hotel years ago when I first visited Raleigh. It was delightful. I have noticed there was no way to have food in the hotel which is a bummer if you come there and have to order food. There was a bar to have a drink. I am coming from out of town. It would have been nice to have a nightcap before tucking into bed. I noticed the pool was not up and running. I also notice that only 1 elevator was working. If you step inside, it dropped and would not always open level to the floor. This is a big hazard, especially for the vision impaired. Breakfast choices were few. If you are going to serve a buffet, have had sanitizer available. Get a juice machine to offer guests different varieties of juice. Use napkins instead of paper towels. To prevent covid, allow guest to place their hands in a glove to help ensure no transmittal of germs. The front desk clerk is not a food attendant. Hire someone to be there to watch the food. The edges of the food had set in pan so long that the edges were hard and unable to chew. My rest was appropriate. The room was clean. If I had the option to stay there again, I would refuse.

Decent hotel for just a weekend stay. The breakfast is very close to continental style minus the scrambled eggs. It's closely located to grocery stores, retail stores, gas stations, restaurants, and the highway.

The front desk service was awesome! The house keeping Supervisior was a little grumpy when we told her that we had need a couch switch because when we pulled the couch out to sleep on it the mattress was solid with some that looks like to be old blood and the couch never got switch our entires stay. This made the room felt so gross. I ask to speak with the manager to get a room change since we could not get a couch change and that was denied as well! So I demand and refund and that was denied too!!!! I will not recommend no one to stay at this place because this experience was far by the worst ever. The part that I am so mad about is no one try to make any of the errors right. This is not the way I remember the Marriott to be !

The plane was delayed and stayed at the airport for one night. I found Wyndham. When I arrived at the hotel from the airport, I contacted the hotel to help you call uber. I will take you to the hotel. There is a shuttle bus when I go to the airport, but it takes half an hour or an hour. Go to the front desk in advance to say hello time. Free uber service is not provided when there is a shuttle bus. There are many restaurants on the road outside the hotel, burger Chinese food, Cuban food, of which Cuban food is a must, tried it is really good. No slippers, toothbrush, need to bring your own, breakfast is simple but the bread, egg, bacon in the American breakfast is available.

It was not a bad place to stay, though we only ate three times for breakfast, 1 the last day which was free due to plane cancelation so they gave my daughter and I free breakfast but the other two times were 1 comp'd that a friend received for three people in which the other was paid for by a friend. Needless to say, I got charged $45 for one day of the breakfast which likely was because the waitress made us put our room #, though she said she understood our meals were comp'd. Sadly even after calling the hotel, speaking to one person who then sent me to the finance manager whom I left a message with but still hasn't called back in almost a week. Frustrating to say the least.

The hotel was nice, and quiet, didn't hear doors slamming throughout the night like most hotels. Was told it was only 4 blocks from the convention center. Was actually like 10 blocks. Parking was a little over priced at $45. The valet never sent call links and it took 25-30 min to get our truck sometimes then they expected a tip as those links didn't seem to have any trouble getting through to my phone. Parking/valet would prob be my least favorite about the hotel. Breakfast was spot on! The staff were incredible in the breakfast area. Especially one lady I wish I had her name. My sone was getting over a chest cold and she made him a Honey Lemon Tea.
