"We frequently visit Kamala Beach and thought trying a different property for once. So it’s our first time staying at this property. We arrived with little expectation but it was a nice surprise. The hotel view was breathtaking. A trainee attended to us at check in, and he was a little nervous but was overall very helpful and polite.
Our room was spacious, clean and with a private balcony. We enjoyed our seaview so much and wasn’t bothered with the traffic noise from the main street nearby or the loud music from the Kamala beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the staff hospitality, walking up to a beautiful view and catching the sunset everyday. Only issue, there were too many mosquitoes, either at their open F&B outlets or in the room too. The hotel should prepare some mosquitoes repellent for guests comfort and convenience. Otherwise will love to return and try other room again."

"The hotel itself isn't bad; it's very green and has a pool. The room had everything: robes, disposable and reusable slippers, a radio, a mosquito repellent, umbrellas, and a safe. The shower kit included not just soap and shampoo, but also a razor, comb, toothbrush and paste, a shower cap, and body lotion.
We only interacted with the staff during check-in, and we were actually checked in right away.
Everything about this hotel seemed good on the surface, but we didn't enjoy our stay. Because the grounds are small and heavily vegetated, the rooms were dark. Anything that fell from the trees on the property wasn't cleaned up, and the sun loungers were dirty (dusty) due to ongoing construction on site. Our room had direct pool access, which might be why it smelled of mold and dampness. There were small lizards crawling on the walls, and mosquitoes were definitely an issue.
We didn't go hungry at breakfast, but most of the dishes were spicy.
The sea is nearby, but swimming isn't possible as there are boats lined up along the shore.
There's a 7-Eleven just around the corner, as well as a shopping mall and an entertainment center for kids nearby.
I don't recommend it ☹️"

"The owner of this hotel is Chinese, and they were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful. Since we visited Phuket during the Chinese New Year holiday, many excursions were fully booked, but the owner gave us excellent advice and a lot of assistance.
The hotel is situated on a hillside, offering great city and sea views. There's also a rooftop pool where you can overlook the entire Patong area. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay at this hotel."

"The owners are Chinese, so communication was very easy. There's a night market right across from the hotel, and the prices are really reasonable. The hotel breakfast was good too. The location is super convenient; it's easy to get to Rawai Seafood Market or Chalong Pier in the morning. We felt right at home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Phuket."

"The overall environment here is truly exceptional, nestled amidst beautiful gardens with a private beach where you can forage for seafood in the evenings, though there isn't a huge bounty. The 'Cute Pet Park' from 9:00-10:00 AM and 4:00-5:00 PM is perfect for kids, featuring large tortoises, the opportunity to hold and feed small rabbits, bottle-feed piglets, and even feed parrots that crack sunflower seeds. The staff are incredibly proactive, constantly handing you various feeds and milk bottles. The swimming pool is massive, and the rooms with pool access look fantastic – definitely something to try next time.
On the downside, the pool and other activities close a bit too early. The hotel is also a bit far from the city center, so once the pool closes in the evening, there's not much to do if you don't go out. There are no lifeguards at the pool throughout the day, so you're responsible for your own safety while swimming and playing, although the water depth is only 1.5 meters.
Additionally, while they advertise many activities, all water facilities and most activities require an extra charge. These prices are also a bit higher than other hotels, so you can pick and choose what you'd like to participate in."

"Overall, I booked this place for the sea view, and it exceeded my expectations! Being able to wake up to such a stunning ocean view from bed just made me never want to leave.
**Cleanliness:** It's clean, and actually looks better in person than in the photos. The pictures make it seem a bit older, but it doesn't feel that way in reality.
**Ambiance:** The beach is right downstairs, and it's incredibly clean with crystal-clear waters along the shore. I honestly think it's much better than those more expensive foreign chain hotels or trendy influencer spots. The accompanying beachfront breakfast restaurant, steakhouse, and bar are all right by the beach, so you can enjoy the ocean view from morning till night.
**Service:** The service was great. Both the lady at the front desk and the bellhop were very friendly, and they were happy to accommodate my request to switch rooms due to a less-than-ideal view.
**Cons:** 1. Breakfast was just okay. 2. The shower water would often suddenly turn scalding hot, which was a bit unnerving."

The room entrance is on the 7th and 8th floors. There are two rooms facing different directions, each with its own shower. There's also a shower in the pool area and another on the 2nd floor in the dining room. Robes, rubber slippers, umbrellas, and dishes are provided.
There are drying racks for clothes on the balcony. It's a bit inconvenient that the TVs aren't connected to the internet."

Spectacular views of the sea from the rooms make this resort a winner for feelings of peace and solitude. My room included a ceiling fan and a separate rain shower next to the bath tub. A massive free breakfast buffet starts the day for most guests, with changing options on a daily basis. Before breakfast I walked down the steep driveway to the private beach to swim either in the sea or the small pool next to it. At 7 am there is nobody around. One morning I took out a kayak (one hour free) which had stunning panoramic views. There are two swimming pools by the resort’s main building and both are delightful for swimming and relaxing.
Nothing much to do in the evening and the TV channel selection could be expanded with movie channels (e.g., HBO, Cinemax), educational channels like Discovery Asia, and nature channels like BBC Earth and Love Nature. I partook in a 90 minute herbal pack massage which was a bit pricy but very professional. Both lunch and dinner menus have sufficient variety of dishes and food quality was good. Staff were always helpful. In summary, Supalai Scenic Bay Resort is a wonderfully serene experience at a very reasonable room price.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Sunset Beach Resort. The facilities are a bit dated, but they are well maintained, which I truly appreciate. You can tell the resort takes good care of what it has.
The location is generally fine, though the beach directly in front of the resort isn’t the best. Patong Beach is about a 300+ meter walk away, which is manageable, just something to note for guests who expect a beachfront swimming spot.
The only part that slightly affected our experience was the shuttle service — not a big issue, but a memorable one. On 1 February, around 5:30 PM, we informed the front desk that we needed the 6:30 PM shuttle to Bangla Street. We even confirmed it twice and were told to sit and wait, as the staff would notify us when the shuttle arrived. We made sure they knew exactly where we were waiting.
By 7:00 PM, after no update, we went back to the front desk only to be told that the shuttle had already left. The staff apologized and admitted she had overlooked us, and arranged the next shuttle.
Nothing serious — just an unexpected extra 30 minutes of “resort relaxation time” we hadn’t planned for. 😊
Still, aside from this hiccup, the stay was comfortable, and with a bit more attention to shuttle coordination, the experience would be even better.

imjennywThe staff here are all very friendly and extremely enthusiastic. We especially appreciate Rach's proactive and friendly service.
Although the lobby is a bit far from the rooms and we had to call the front desk every time we went out or came back, the shuttle service arrived very quickly and never delayed us. Even when we returned late, there were always staff members on standby to drive us back to our room immediately.
The hotel provides shuttle services to and from the Old Town and Central Festival. It would be even better if we could take the shuttle to the Old Town and then be picked up from Central Festival on the return trip.
The room was spacious, clean, and the air conditioning was excellent, though the water pressure was a bit weak.
The hotel environment is quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again!

I didn't have high hopes for this hotel due to its low rating on Ctrip and the room photos. However, my stay far exceeded my expectations. The room was much more upscale in person than it appeared in the pictures. While some power outlets, switches, and a few pieces of furniture were a bit dated, the overall quality was still evident.
We booked a one-bedroom luxury sea-view villa. Upon arrival, the staff warmly showed us two different layouts within this room type: one with separate living and sleeping areas, and another where they were connected. The bedroom and bathroom configurations also varied. We chose the latter, and the view was absolutely incredible.
The staff across all departments were excellent, always greeting us with a smile and providing great assistance. The tuk-tuk service was also very prompt, arriving within 2-3 minutes of calling. Because of the room's amazing view, we ordered room service for both dinners, enjoying our meals while watching the sunset. The food quality was also excellent, far superior to the Banyan Tree where we stayed a few days prior. There's a 7-Eleven within walking distance, and the walk from the hotel to the 7-Eleven offers nice scenery.
There were a couple of downsides. Firstly, the breakfast selection was limited (though the taste was decent), and the breakfast restaurant lacked air conditioning. Also, the air conditioning in the game room was often turned off; I hope they can improve this.
One more thing to mention: if your budget allows, I highly recommend upgrading directly to the one-bedroom luxury pool sea-view villa. The experience at this hotel differs significantly depending on whether you have a sea view or not.

Tania salI had a wonderful stay at Graceland Resort—I can’t be any happier. I arrived pretty late at night, and all I asked for was a nice, quiet room. The front desk lady Jenny at that time of night was incredibly considerate and sweet .She upgraded me to a pool room, and I truly appreciate that.
Also, there was a lovely cleaning lady Kanyakorn who cleaned me room every day and was very attentive and pleasant , she let me borrowed the iron exceptionally longer period of time😅Overall, I felt taken care of and very welcomed. The service and hospitality were excellent.
The breakfast was okay—I’d rate it about 6.7 out of 10—but the hotel itself is beautiful. It has a couple of pools and it’s right on the beach, with many restaurants around. Hotel got a small gym as well which is good enough for few days workout and oh yes they offer complimentary half an hour morning trainings as well which was nice . I also remember a v kind gesture from them i ordered late night food and they forgot to deliver to bring and on being reminded the food and beverage manager felt terribly sorry and wanted to send free meal next day which wasn’t needed for me so I declined politely but they were so sweet they still ended up sending a fruit platter to room.In all , with such great hospitality, I would definitely come back to the hotel. Customer service was awfully wonderful.

I booked a one-bedroom villa, and after visiting and comparing several units, I truly believe Villa #68 is the absolute best among the one-bedroom options! The layout and size are optimal!
The villa boasts a generous 550 sqm, offering huge space and a comfortable layout. It comes with a private pool that directly connects to the beach, making both privacy and the views impeccable.
The amenities are also comprehensive: a sauna, indoor and outdoor dual showers, and an outdoor bathtub, instantly delivering a complete resort feel and comfort.
The hotel itself has a very natural, ecological island vibe. We saw lizards several times on the villa rooftop and by the pool. At first, it was a bit scary, but they are actually very docile and completely non-aggressive – a rather unique wilderness experience.
Breakfast was just okay, nothing special. The service was excellent throughout; all staff members were enthusiastic, friendly, meticulous, and attentive. A special shout-out to Liam, who provided dedicated service from start to finish, always responsive, patiently helping us arrange all our needs with professionalism and warmth!
However, there are a few objective points that deduct from the overall score:
Firstly, the hotel's landscaping and gardening are rather ordinary compared to other resorts in the same category. Most of the public areas are sandy, with sparse and poorly maintained plants, making them generally not photo-worthy.
Secondly, the in-room facilities are a bit dated, especially the bathroom. The quality of the fixtures and sanitary ware like the toilet and showerhead feels quite common, which doesn't quite match the Luxury Collection brand positioning.
Getting to the island involves a bit of a journey, from the airport to the pier and then a speedboat transfer, but it feels worth it upon arrival.
If you're looking for an extra-large private villa, private pool, direct beach access, and excellent service, this place is still highly recommended. However, if you are sensitive to the public area landscaping and the newness of indoor hardware, you might want to do a bit more research.

Anonymous UserThe room facilities are very new, and the hotel environment is beautiful. It's quite close to the airport, which was convenient as I had an early flight the next day. The hotel has its own clean, uncrowded beach, making it a great choice if you're traveling with kids and just want to relax at the hotel and play on the sand. For meals or grocery shopping, the hotel provides a tuk-tuk service every 50 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes in the evening. By the way, the pizza place nearby is pretty good, and there's also an elephant feeding experience with two elephants, which was quite fun.

The environment is very natural and pristine, with a massive garden, lush trees, and modern architecture. The pool is huge, with several shallow play areas, perfect for families with children under 6. The main pool is 1.4 meters deep – imagine relaxing in the water while gazing at the sea! There's also a bar right by the pool. The hotel's private beach, although the waves are too strong for swimming, boasts water the same clear, blue-green color as the pool – absolutely beautiful. The hotel breakfast is incredibly rich, offering not only standard Western options but also many local specialties like curries, pandan cake, sticky rice desserts, and Thai milk tea – all delicious! There's also a wide selection for lunch and dinner. The prices are comparable to outside restaurants, and while there's a service charge, it saves you the time and effort of going out, making it ideal for lazy guests like us who just want to relax at the hotel. The hotel also has a spa and massage services, along with a gym. There are different activities scheduled daily. The staff are friendly, polite, and always willing to help. For payments, credit cards, Alipay, and WeChat Pay are all accepted. Guests come from all over the world, truly a mini United Nations, which is very interesting. However, the hotel's location is a bit remote, which might not suit those who prefer a livelier atmosphere.

Anonymous UserOut of the three hotels I stayed at in Phuket, this one was by far the best. The breakfast at a five-star hotel always satisfies with its rich variety, and there were plenty of staff members. I'd read reviews for the previous two hotels that also mentioned good breakfast, but they were honestly hard to judge.
The hotel has a large infinity pool that closes at 7 PM, which is great. The beach is right across the road, with hotel staff and sun loungers available. A hidden gem is to go to the beach in the morning for some scenic photos, and then after the tide recedes in the afternoon, you can go 'sea foraging' – there are lots of fish, mantis shrimp, crabs, and sea cucumbers. On my last day, I witnessed a stunning sunset from the beach. While the beach directly in front of the hotel isn't quite as good as Karon, the adjacent Kamala Beach is still very nice.
The hotel is right by the beach. This area isn't very convenient for getting around without a car. Kamala Beach is only about a kilometer away, and the hotel seems to have a shuttle service. Kamala Beach has everything you need; although it's not as lively as Karon, it definitely meets expectations. The 7-Eleven on the beach is quite large and well-stocked. There's a Big C supermarket on the main road (about 150m from Kamala Beach); I didn't visit, but it looked like a big store.

Guest UserOverall, it's pretty good. The breakfast is decent, it's very close to the beach, and the view is beautiful. The beach is clean, with fine sand, and there are surfing instructors. The key is that it's quite shallow, perfect for kids. The service is also good, quite friendly and attentive. You can lie on the balcony outside the room and watch the sea, which is very comfortable. Transportation is a bit inconvenient; there are no convenience stores within walking distance. Another minor drawback is the stairs, which make carrying luggage a bit difficult.
Overall, it's very good, and my family is quite satisfied.
