Lacking points from my personal experience:
1. The carpet floors need to be replaced. I had to change rooms because the first room I got had an unpleasant smell to it (they quickly changed my room after I went to the reception, so it wasn't terrible) and although I didn't notice until the end of my stay, the new room's carpet was frayed at the edges.
2. The night mode of the lights (many switches) completely cuts power to the power outlets. I didn't know and ended up waking up to a phone and power bank with a dying battery and needing to stay in the hotel a couple of hours until they finished charging. Maybe just a warning in the future?
The good parts:
1. The service! People are SO accommodating, pleasant and efficient. Reception staff, waiters, bell boys and basically everyone greets you with a smile and tries to solve any problems with utmost focus and cordiality.
2. Traditional pride. Traditional fashion exhibition at the front was a great touch to my visit. The whole place (restaurants, pools, spa, rooms, etc) add to the experience. I could have stayed in the hotel and felt like I hadn't missed Manila's charm.
3. Excellent location. I realised early on that I could literally see every single thing from my ”1 day tour of Manila” from my hotel room. Nothing says great location like this."

Akhil GargI had a fantastic stay at Berjaya Makati. The location is unbeatable right in the heart of the business district, with Greenbelt and Glorietta malls just a short walk away for shopping and dining. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. What really stood out was the staff; they were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to accommodate my early check-in request. The pool area is a nice oasis after a long day of meetings. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers!”

But the food, specially the bacon, thats not how “Filipino” cooked their bacons.
Ang tigas, may part na sunog pa. I waited for the new batch baka kasi nagkataon lang but same pa din. Almost everyone namimili ng di overcooked kaya ending mga matitigas naiiwan.
The refill of food is also slow, like you need to wait like 5mins to refill a specific meal. Need mo ma pagfollow up ng condiments refill kasi maubos na.

Guest UserIt’s supposed to be my family staycation and at the same time my surprise to my son and partner. So i requested a complimentary cake. So upon checking in, i confirmed my requet to the front desk and answered me that my requested is granted, included to my request is pool view.
So upon arrival at the room, my first expectations was the cake. But sadly there is no cake :( it’s for my partner surprise because he’s “balik bayan” :( and belated bday celebration.
2nd the pool view is not granted as well. It’s my 4th time visited here. We loved it here especially my son. He waited his dad to come back home for us to be together here. But unfortunately, happy but sad experienced now.
Anyway, overall it was great staying here again. We will come back again naman. Just sharing my experienced lang. Not angry just sharing hehe.

Good stay overall. The staff were friendly, and the room was comfortable. Housekeeping could be a bit more thorough, but it did not significantly affect our experience. We would still recommend this hotel and consider staying again.

The location is very convenient — just a short distance from Rizal Park, Intramuros, and shopping areas like Robinsons Place Manila. It made moving around the city easy without long travel time.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for resting after a full day of walking around Manila. What stood out the most was the hospitality of the staff — they were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help.

Anonymous UserMy first time staying on this hotel. And will definitely comeback. My friends daughter held her 18th bday here and they had rented the function area. And it was beautiful! The food is good, the set up is pretty. While waiting for the room they assigned to me was able to try their cafe which offers brunch and love their brunch menu. The only thing about checking in is you have to ask the frontdeak twice if my room is ready. Because the frontdesk who told me that they will call me when the room is ready. Did not call me at all. So after 2 hours.I asked her again If my room is ready then that is the time they gave me the key for my room. Good thing me and 2 of my friends are enjoying the food on their cafe. The room was clean..I had a kinda nice view too. The room is big so I'm happy about that. The bathroom was okay. Nothing really special though.

The hotel's first floor is a casino, and it's quite fragrant. The front desk staff can speak Chinese. While you're getting your room card, the bellhop will take your luggage to your room in advance. The bedding is very comfortable and doesn't have any strange smells, though the bed is a bit high. Overall, I'm satisfied.
