"It's like a giant campsite community. It sucks there is little accommodation at hot water beach but the location is like a 10 min walk to the beach which is nice. I was in a small hut that had 4 twin mattresses (2 bunk beds). There were spiders and bugs up in the corners and of course I was top bunk. The mattress was also shot, a curvature body shape in the middle. The showers and toilets were clean and easy to access/use. The wifi is annoying as the password changes daily and of course you cant use it when you wake up the next day. Bonus there was a friendly cat walking around I was petting. I wish they had more cabins with just a bed and kitchenette to book."

"This is the only hotel booked on Trip.com on this trip to New Zealand. When booking this hotel, it was completely its location. It was just the ideal place to rest in my self-driving. We arrived at ten o'clock in the night. The location is very good. It feels like a manor room. Dong has been waiting for us. Later, I heard that the house was moved as a whole. The landlord is our Chinese. It is easy to communicate. The room is also very comfortable. There is a large double bed and a small single bed. There is no problem for a family of three. We will soon fall asleep. The next morning. The landlord prepared a variety of highlights in the sun for us. After dinner, I saw alpacas babies at home. You can take alpacas for breakfast and play with them. The yard covers an area of 20,000 square meters. It is too big. It is full of various plants. It is too interesting. Later, I chatted with the landlord to know. The former New Zealand cherry blossom festival was held by the landlord to have guests over 10,000. In short, this is one of our favorite homestays on this trip to New Zealand."

"Reception was efficient, Room was located upstairs a bit inconvenient especially with bags to haul, the room was spacious and clean , jetted tub was awesome, very handy location, our room was next to the main entrance, very noisy with traffic going past, woke us several times during the night, would not recommend this room. Would prefer a downstairs room away from the main entrance will be mindful if I book this hotel again."

"The layout is quite compact; it felt a bit cramped for two adults and two children. There was an issue with the bathroom fan switch, it would sometimes turn on and sometimes not. Eating and shopping were super convenient. The biggest supermarket in town, New World, along with a pizza place and a few other restaurants, were all within walking distance. Wi-Fi signal was excellent, the shower had great water pressure, and there were plenty of heating options."

"The room was unsatisfactory. Cobwebs and insects on walls, broken & wobbly dining chairs. Even the stair railing to go upstairs is shaky. Chipped bowls and plates. Most serious is that hot water shower is almost impossible! Hot water seems to be limited. It's always freezing cold water! Imagine having soap all over your body and literally freezing just to wait for the hot water to come but yet not enough to rinse off the soap! I gave up trying to shower the next day. And no Aircon on upstairs room. We had to ask for a small fan just to ventilate the room"

"A hotel I absolutely adore, perfect for a vacation. The three-bedroom apartment features 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, and 2 bathrooms, with one en-suite bedroom. The living room has large balconies on both sides; one faces Lake Taupo directly, while the other overlooks the hotel's thermal pool. Restaurant: The buffet breakfast includes a buffet spread and a la carte main courses. The buffet selection itself is already very rich."

"The motel is clean and luckily close to some food places as they did not have in house restaurant. The room is a bit small, luckily I was staying alone. I accidentally left my water bottle and they wrote to let me know. That's nice of them."

"The room we received was nothing like the room advertised on your website. We made our booking through *********** based on the photographs, which portrayed a modern, clean, stylish, and well-maintained room. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. Instead of the fresh, contemporary room shown in the photos, we were given a room that felt old, tired, and poorly maintained. The flooring was covered with worn, old carpets and rugs rather than the clean, modern finishes we expected. The furnishings were dated, the overall appearance was shabby, and the room looked as though it had not been renovated in many years. It felt unclean and lacked the standard of comfort and quality that your promotional images suggested. To make matters worse, the fan in Room 412 was not working, making the room uncomfortable. Throughout the night, every time someone walked along the corridor, the old wooden floorboards creaked loudly, disturbing our sleep. These maintenance issues significantly affected our comfort and overall experience. To be completely honest, the condition of the room reminded us more of emergency housing than accommodation offered by a hotel with your name and reputation. The difference between what was advertised and what we actually received was shocking. We specifically chose your hotel because of the high-quality images displayed on ***********. Those images created an expectation of a premium experience, but the room we received fell far short of that expectation. Had the room been accurately represented, we would have made a different booking decision."
