"Location of this hotel is insane, the service is good, the hotel lobby can connect to Lawson without going out to the street. But! I think Namba is a little bit chaos, normally I always stayed at Yodoyabashi, Shin Osaka and Umeda district, I think these three districts are quieter, I stayed here and hear 🚨 every night which effect my sleep quality. Anyway, the onsen is very relax and natural, and there are plenty of ice creams for free, night time ramen for free, and two massage bed for free (lots of people queues here, so be hurry!). And the room has some brown watermark on the wall so not much clean, but don’t expect much because it’s budget hotel, with all these free amenity I appreciate it so much and I couldn’t complain much. You can easily open your luggage without blocking the pathway, and multiple people can be in the room without feeling cramped. For family travel, this is often more practical than many newer, trendier hotels. **🎩 Showa-Era Elegance:** The hotel exudes the charm of a classic, upscale establishment. From the high-ceilinged lobby and wooden decor to the warm lighting and large floral arrangements, it has a distinct 'old money' feel reminiscent of the Showa era. Many new hotels nowadays aim for minimalist or influencer-friendly aesthetics, but the Imperial Hotel Osaka has maintained its unique and recognizable 'Showa elegance'. Even casual photos in the lobby at night turn out beautifully. **🛁 Surprisingly Great Bathroom:** The bathroom was an unexpected bonus! The bathtub is generously sized, and the water pressure is excellent. What's more, both the room and bathroom have the option to play classical music. After walking 10,000-20,000 steps during the day, a relaxing bath here is pure bliss. Listening to classical music while bathing, combined with the hotel's old-world ambiance, strangely creates a strong sense of ritual. This small detail actually became one of my most memorable aspects of the hotel. **💁 Professional Service:** The staff are generally well-trained, polite, and discreet. You can tell they come from a long tradition of five-star hospitality. From the front desk to the concierge, everyone was professional and friendly. Although we didn't encounter any Chinese-speaking staff, English communication was generally smooth. **🚌 Free Shuttle to Osaka Station:** The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle bus to and from Osaka Station, running approximately every 20 minutes from 10 AM to 10 PM during our stay. This significantly compensates for the hotel's slightly distant location from the train station. While the nearest JR Sakuranomiya Station still requires crossing a bridge and a bit of a walk, which might be inconvenient if you have heavy luggage or prioritize direct access to a station, the shuttle largely mitigates the public transport issue. It covers most normal travel times from morning to night, but I'd recommend checking the latest timetable on the day of your check-in. **Location:** The hotel isn't in Osaka's busiest area, offering a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle, which is perfect for a good rest. There's a convenience store nearby and a small shopping arcade connected to the hotel, though dining options are not extensive. **Overall Impression:** I believe the Imperial Hotel Osaka is particularly well-suited for family trips, traveling with parents, or anyone who prioritizes room spaciousness, quietness, and quality service over being directly above a bustling commercial district."

"Had a great stay at SH Kanku.  Walking distance from train station.  Staff was very helpful.  Set up was modern with room code entry.  Free self serve drinks including alcohols were a nice bonus after travel day.  Same with the large bath with carbonated water.  Breakfast was tasty with organic and local foods.  Variety of drinks.  For check out, can simply walk out as everything was taken care of at check in.  One train to KIX which was conveniently."

"This was my first stay at a hotel from this well-known chain. I booked it last minute for one night, so I wasn't sure what to expect for such a low price. Well, it was pure bliss! Yes, by Western standards, the room is quite small, but I actually liked that because everything felt so thoughtfully designed. Everything was clean and tidy, all the appliances worked perfectly, and there was a wonderful bathroom with everything you could possibly need: body soap, shampoo, CONDITIONER, a loofah, razor, hair tie, toothbrush and toothpaste, towels, etc. There was even a yukata, and from what I understood, access to a spa area (though I didn't get a chance to try it). I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Japan. Arigato gozaimas!"

"Excellent! 👍 It might be a bit tricky to find for first-time visitors to Osaka, but it's no problem if you use navigation. It's very close to Tanimachi Line, Higashi-Umeda Exit 4, and also near the Nishi-Tenma 36 bus stop. Facilities: Comprehensive, and there's even a hot spring pool to soak in. However, please note ⚠️, no tattoos allowed 🙅‍♂️. Hygiene: The cleanliness of this hotel is superb! 👍 Extremely clean. Environment: The breakfast quality is high, and the ingredients are excellent. But you need to eat early, around 9 AM, as they stop replenishing food by 9:45 AM. Service: The front desk staff are also very friendly. For friends who smoke, remember to use the smoking room on the first floor to light up! 😄 The second picture shows the smoking room."

"Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Candeo Hotels. The room was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the amenities provided. Having Netflix available in the room was a nice bonus after a long day of sightseeing in Osaka. The hotel is conveniently located near Hiratsuka station, and it works well as a stopover between Osaka and Kyoto. For a one-night stay, it's a great and affordable option. The only thing I would mention is the location itself. Looking back, it might have been better to stay in Kyoto right away. However, hotels in Kyoto are often much more expensive and crowded with tourists, so staying here was actually a good compromise. In the end, I really don't have any complaints and would happily stay here again."

"The hotel's location is excellent. Get off at M14 station on the Red Line, take exit 2 from the subway, and walk past the convenience store for another five minutes, and you'll be there. Remember to return your key to the front desk when you leave the hotel and ask for it back when you return. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other amenities are in the basket in the lobby for you to pick up yourself. The hotel room isn't huge, but it's clean and tidy, the towels are fluffy, and the air conditioning works great. The only downside was a dripping sound in the bathroom of my room, 703."
