Hotels With Spa in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan

Overall, I don’t think I would stay here again. Maybe it is worth to spend a night or two here. Details below: During my 6D5N trip, I have stayed in different hotels. This hotel had the most expensive parking by far. It was ¥2000 / night. Also the parking was a bit inconvenient since the parking area uses an elevator-system and you need a staff to operate the parking system machine to get your car each time you need to use your car. There were a lot of families with young children during my stay, not the best place if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax. There were also only 2 elevators so sometimes it takes a long time to wait for the elevators due to the crowd. The hotel provides a lot of amenities, including some daily activities from 17:00-18:00, noodles from 20:30-21:30, and free flow drinks from 10:00-22:00 (no free laundry tho). I got to try the traditional outfit dress up session, it was a good experience to quickly try on the Okinawan-style kimono. Just a personal preference, I did find their soaps and skin care products heavily scented, which I wasn’t a fan of.

The hotel has a multi storey parking for hotel guest use, free of charge, but need to have a chop at front desk. Also there is a Aeon nearby which is tax free. We buy a lot of souvenir there! Hotel is located just next to American Village Depot Island. It is just across the street... and u will find plenty of shops, restaurants and entertainment there. Although the view is not good, there is a balcony in our room. There is also a public bath (free of charge) as well...open till very late, many people go there at night. Remember to go before sunset as the sea view is great and many people go there for photo taking.

Very good experience. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. They are willing to go the extra mile to make one's journey smooth. The swimming pool is awesome, and enough lifeguards are there to make everyone safe. Oriental is not the only hotel we visited this time, and I would say their standard room is big when compared with the other same grade hotels. One thing to highlight is the varied cuisines at the grill restaurant, value for money. Overall, we would recommend this hotel to anyone we know, especially families. Would like to visit again.

Standard Family Room is ideal for family of four. We were surprised that the hotel has prepared some events on a New Year Day. The breakfast was good too. We can see the fireworks from our room. Fabulous! The minus point is : they do not help us to prepare the Fuyon beds; we have to do it ourselves. Hanasaki Marche is just opposite the hotel. There is Starbucks, Blue Seal, Onigiri & etc. Very pleasant surroundings. Other than the above, we have a pleasant stay at Hotel Mahaina Wellness Resort Okinawa!

Huge resort hotel with lots to do for families. The onsen facilities are great (extra charge for guests) and breakfast was good. The room had a fantastic ocean view. Better to have a car to drive around as not much in the local area.

The hotel's location isn't great. Apart from a large supermarket nearby, there's nothing else around, and it's also quite a distance from Kokusai Dori. The room itself was just okay. Housekeeping only came every two days, and they didn't even replace bath towels or provide bottled water. The front desk staff were unhelpful, and the check-in process was incredibly slow. When I called them, they couldn't understand English, so I had to go downstairs and use a translation app on my phone to communicate.

The breakfast and dinner options were honestly fantastic. There were plenty of options that ranged from Italian to traditional Japanese. I really enjoyed the night we grilled at our table.

The entrance to the room was stunning, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The location was conveniently a ten-minute drive from the aquarium, with a shuttle service also available. Many nearby dining options were available, and the sea views were lovely. We chose not to have breakfast due to the price 3300 yen. Free parking was plentiful. However, we did find that the air conditioning could be improved, as a setting of 20 degrees was insufficiently cool. Additionally, the pool's operating hours (9 AM to 6 PM) seemed somewhat limited, and the gym could benefit from additional strength training equipment. However, I would definitely recommend staying here and would return.

Ocean view from room balcony and close to the cultural & F&B experience spot Gala. Direct access to beach and lovely to listen to waves to sleep and wake up.  Love the spaciousness in the room and amenities are good. Staff are helpful. Convenient transfer from hotel to airport. Unfortunately If not driving it’s hard to go to Yomitan town to get food or walk around because the estate was surrounded by fields and village houses and some graves.

Had a great time at the the Hiyori! Traveled with my toddler and he absolutely loved the hotel room and kept asking to go back to the hotel. The room is well setup for longer stays with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and other smaller touches that show the hotel has thought of everything (including hand drip coffee for you to enjoy)! Hotel is still catered for more Japanese tourists and not a lot of staff speak English. Even with that the staff tried their best and we had a great time!
