Decently sized room. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. It’s a good place to stay if you have rented your own car. Carpark for 1700yen per day. In its lobby there is a Familymart so and a souvenir store so overall it’s a convenient place! Didn’t get a chance to really explore its amenities as I’m out most of the days, but I would recommend for its price!

Our stay in Okinawa was incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's location is superb, right by the shopping district and the beach, making it super convenient for dining, entertainment, and everything else. Although the room wasn't huge, it was cozy and impeccably clean. The separate shower and toilet were a really practical touch. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help, and even went out of their way to recommend local eateries and sightseeing routes. Overall, it offered great value for money and perfectly suited our vacation needs. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

This is my go-to hotel every time I visit Okinawa. The location is excellent, just a few hundred meters from the monorail station, and a short 5-6 minute walk to DFS and Naha's largest shopping mall, Main Place. A little further away, there's also the Depo outdoor sports store. The hotel's biggest draw is definitely the breakfast – it's incredibly generous. While the rooms are a bit on the small side, they're perfectly fine for a solo traveler.

The room size was standard, but both the amenities and services were quite good. The breakfast was excellent and varied; even after eating for two days, there were still different options, including ice cream. The staff were also very enthusiastic. It's super convenient for shopping and dining. It's not far from Ryukyu Department Store and Kokusai Dori, and there's a large Matsumoto Kiyoshi just a 5-minute walk away. There's a FamilyMart right outside the hotel, and if you walk a bit further, you'll find an even bigger FamilyMart, a 7-Eleven, and a Lawson.

This hotel is perfectly located in the middle of Kokusai Street, with a 7-Eleven and Lawson convenience store right downstairs – super convenient! We booked a triple room for two, and it was incredibly spacious. We could easily lay out two 28-inch suitcases flat. Just a heads-up on the cleaning: the hotel doesn't clean daily. If you stay for five days, they only clean on the middle day, so you'll need to keep an eye on the room's cleanliness yourself. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided, but not replenished daily; they're only replaced on the third-day cleaning. Overall, it's still good! The location is truly excellent, and the air conditioning works really well! Plus, they even gave us three room cards, which was a nice bonus!

I feel like the location is great but somehow the hotel is quite old-fashion style. There's no very impressive thing within the hotel. The free ramen is okay level but it's not that worthy to waste your appetite here. Anyway, it's okay level but I would say it's very likely to find a better hotel in the same level of cost.

Friendly staff. Good location in about the middle of the island with free parking. Clean and spacious with many plugs. Family mart down stairs. Negatives are: gecko in the room, no bottled water, pillow with very little stuffing makes you feel like sleeping without a pillow. Cleaning is every 3 days and only if you put a sign up for it. Bathroom is typically small as Japanese standard, which is a loss because they could've made the room larger by merging the ”changing” room with the bathroom.

This is our honeymoon trip and they even upgraded room for us. Thank you 😊 About this hotel, everything is just perfect. Hotel is new and clean. Staff are friendly and attentive. And it’s not too far from Naha Airport. If you don’t drive, you can take a hotel shuttle bus or a taxi. There is a bus stop nearby if you want to try public transportation. Also a shopping mall and restaurants are very close. We really enjoyed a wonderful sea view at the club lounge. We will stay at Prince Hotel again in our next trip.

This might be the best hotel on Senagajima… hmm… the sunset is beautiful, the sea view is beautiful, and watching planes take off and land is also beautiful… but… the hotel's hot spring had a rotten, watery smell, the restroom on the first floor was dirty, there were ants in the room, and it was clear that many facilities hadn't even been wiped down in a long time. The staff were actually quite patient, and English communication was fine, but then there was an unexpected incident: I am very sure my wife and I are mindful of noise levels in public, yet during dinner, simply because I borrowed a phone, an elderly Japanese man at the next table, without any warning, yelled “shut up” like an animal. And the nearby staff member did nothing… If it weren't for considering international relations and being in a foreign country, I really would have wanted to have a vocabulary contest with that animal-like old man… To be honest, this was my first time encountering such an incident in Japan, but the hotel staff’s inaction completely ruined my impression of the place.

GGuest UserThe staff were really nice. Even though there was a language barrier with the lady downstairs, she was very patient and used a translation app to communicate with us. However, the app wasn't very accurate. When we went upstairs to check in, it turned out there was a ********* person at the front desk, which was great. Still, we had to wait quite a while to check in, even though there was no one else at the desk at the time. The room was pretty spacious, and everything else was fine. The location is also quite convenient, and the restaurant downstairs is good. After checking in, it was past 3 PM, so we went downstairs to eat. The server asked if we wanted the restaurant or cafe. When she gave us the menu, we realized we only had about five or six minutes before lunch orders closed, but they still took our order! The set meal and the beef rice bowl were both really delicious. Definitely worth trying if you're staying here.

KKEVINLEE1. 🌅 **Ambiance & Location** (★★★☆☆) 📍 The hotel is situated along the coast of Yomitan Village, offering fantastic ocean views, perfect for watching sunsets and simply relaxing by the sea. ✔ All rooms are oceanfront with sea views, so you wake up to the ocean every day. ✘ As it's located in a resort area, it's a bit far from the city center and transportation hubs. You'll need to rent a car or arrange a shuttle for daily outings. ➡️ Ideal for a completely relaxing vacation; less suitable for travelers who primarily want to explore Naha city. --- 2. 🛏️ **Accommodation & Comfort** (★★★★★) ✨ Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a minimalist yet warm design. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer excellent ocean views. ✨ Guests consistently praise the bedding, cleanliness, and the sea-view terrace. ✨ Rooms are well-equipped with amenities (Wi-Fi, refrigerator, household appliances, etc.). 📌 Guest ratings for 'comfort and cleanliness' are very high. --- 3. 🛎️ **Service Quality** (★★★★☆) ✔ Hoshino Resorts' signature attentive service means the reception and overall stay experience are generally well-received. ⚠ A very small number of guests noted a 'slight difference in room hospitality compared to other high-end Japanese ryokans.' ✔ Overall, the service remains at a high standard. --- 4. 🍽️ **Dining Experience** (★★★★☆) 🍴 The restaurant offers a diverse menu, blending local and international flavors, with themed dishes and unique experiences. 🍽️ Some guests felt the dining surpassed typical hotel offerings, but noted the prices were on the higher side. 🎯 Most guests gave positive reviews. --- 5. 🏊‍♀️ **Facilities & Additional Experiences** (★★★★★) 🌊 Highlights include the infinity pool, spa, beachfront cafe, and cultural activities. 💆‍♂️ Activities like spa treatments, horseback riding, and sunset cocktails make the vacation experience even more complete. ✔ Perfect for couples, families, or anyone looking for a truly relaxing getaway. --- 6. 🧭 **Recommended For** ✅ Those looking for a leisurely vacation, sea views, and relaxation. ✅ Family or couple getaways. 🇯🇵 Not suitable for: Travelers solely looking for convenient city exploration (requires transport arrangements).

GGuest UserLocated in Yomitan, you can take a direct bus from the airport to the hotel, which costs 1700 yen and takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained, and every photo you take looks beautiful. There are two churches, one on each side, and the famous Hoshino Coffee Shop is within walking distance. The hotel beach is just okay, but the water is clear. If the weather is good, you can see the ocean stratified like a 'jellyfish' sea, which is stunning. At low tide in the afternoon, you can easily spot sea cucumbers, blue fish, and hermit crabs near the reefs, which is quite interesting (I recommend bringing a pair of beach shoes). For breakfast, there are three restaurants to choose from. I tried the Japanese restaurant and HanaHana. At HanaHana, you can exchange your breakfast for lunch (after scanning a QR code, you can select to swap breakfast for lunch and make a reservation). The lunch buffet is quite good, with many Cantonese dim sum options, and the overall quality is excellent – highly recommended. The Japanese restaurant serves a set meal for breakfast with a small buffet; the overall selection isn't extensive, but it's more about the experience. The hotel service is very good, and the environment is beautiful. You can watch the sunset from the lounge chairs on the hotel beach. You can also take the shuttle to the Grand Mercure, then walk to Hanagasa for dinner or to Cape Zanpa Lighthouse. The Grand Mercure has more swimming pool facilities (the pools at both hotels are shared). Overall, the experience was great, and I recommend it. The only downside is that the area is relatively remote, so it's not very convenient if you don't have a car, but it's not a major issue. You can stay here for a few nights and then move to Kokusai Street for a few more nights.

EES1310The hotel is quite far from the city, which makes it feel like a true resort—you really get that vacation vibe here. Unfortunately, there’s no sauna, which feels a little unusual. Without a car, getting around can be tricky, so driving is almost essential. On the bright side, the hotel is located in Northern Okinawa Main Island, close to plenty of attractions such as Sesoko Island, Kouri Island, and the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. The bathroom amenities had a soothing fragrance that added to the stay, though the shampoo felt a bit drying. Special thanks to Shyam at the front desk—he was very welcoming and greeted us with a big smile, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

BBabachan23Oceanic Grandeur at The Orion Motobu: A Masterclass in Northern Okinawa Hospitality Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) The Verdict ”The Hotel Orion Motobu Resort & Spa remains a benchmark for luxury in Northern Okinawa. With its expansive footprint and strategic location adjacent to the Emerald Beach and Churaumi Aquarium, it offers a resort experience that feels both grand in scale and intimate in comfort. As a traveler who appreciates the higher standards of Japanese hospitality, I found this property to be a highlight of the Motobu Peninsula.” Location & Aesthetic The positioning is peerless. To have Emerald Beach as your front yard and the aquarium as your neighbor is a luxury few hotels can claim. The architecture maximizes the stunning views of Ie Island, and the transition from the sophisticated lobby to the pristine coastal surroundings is seamless. The resort successfully captures the 'Okinawa Blue' spirit in every corner. Service & Amenities The service here felt notably more 'high-touch' and personalized. The staff navigate the complexities of a large-scale resort with grace and genuine warmth—a step above the standard 'transactional' service seen in city hotels. You can feel the passion and warmth the moment you arrive at the resort. Accommodation Note The rooms are impressively spacious by Japanese standards and the location is right in between Churaumi Aquarium and Bise Fukugi Tree Road by foot!!! Guest Tip: Ensure you are present at your balcony to embrace the magnificent sunset. Watching the sun dip below the horizon around 5:00 PM is a transformative experience that defines the beauty of this resort.

SSdehuayanglvtuThere are no special facilities, it is cleaned very well, and it doesn't feel very old. Of course, the bathroom does not have a dry and wet separation, which still reflects the sense of age. There is a shuttle bus on the coast south of Shigira. It is really a big bus. It runs every half an hour during the day and every quarter of an hour after dinner time, making the transportation in this area quite convenient. There is no FamilyMart or 711 in the entire southern area, and there is no decent beach, including the largest Shigira Beach. The beach in front of the hotel is basically not a beach. The hotel itself has no recreational facilities, just a very small swimming pool, which is not only small in area, but also less than 1.2 meters deep, basically for children to play. Before noon and before dinner, it will be crowded with Japanese kids who come to travel until there is no space. Fortunately, there are groups chasing turtles in this area, so it is convenient to go there. To go to other places, such as Yonaha and Ikema Island, you can only drive or take a taxi. It is also difficult to get a taxi at night, and the bus stops after 18:00. So you can play in whichever area you live in. If you charter a car to go around the island, it doesn't feel like you are playing on the island. But it is still a very quiet choice, a kind of lying down vacation. If you want to have dinner around, you have to make an appointment in advance. There are quite a lot of facilities in the room, and you can also wash clothes.
